Animals Habitats
Habitat is a place or environment where an animal lives. A
habitat provides all the food, nutrients, and shelter an animal
requires and meets for its survival.
Every animal has a different requirement and a habitat. For
example, a habitat of fish, sharks and octopus is water. They cannot
survive on land and likewise animals like lions, deer and zebra cannot
survive in water for whole of their lives.
Desert is another habitat where animals like camels can only
survive, they have bumps to store water for longer period of times.
Some leopards live where there is snow, they cannot survive in
habitats with hot temperature.

1. What is a habitat?

2. What is a habitat of a camel?

3. Which animals can survive in water?
