ENHANCING PUPILS 4S’ THROUGH MONOPOLY BOARD GAME AMONG YEAR 4 PRIMARY ESL

CLASSROOM.

RESEARCH PROBLEMS
- Pupils not being able to understand the English Language vocabulary due to the overuse
of mother tongue
- Pupils are not attracted to the traditional based lesson
- Pupils feel demotivated as the enhancement exercised do not fit their knowledge gap.

RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
a) To investigate the level of 4S’s among Year 4 primary ESL classroom
b) To investigate the level of efficiency of integrating Monopoly Board Game in Year 4
primary ESL classroom
c) To determine the relationship between the 4S’s and integration of Monopoly Board
Game among Year 4 Primary ESL classroom.

RESEARCH QUESTIONS
i. What is the level of 4S’s among Year 4 primary ESL classroom?
ii. What is the level of efficiency of integration Monopoly Board Game in Year 4 primary
ESL classroom?
iii. Is there a significant relationship between the 4S’s and the integration of Monopoly
Board Game among Year 4 primary ESL classroom.
