During this internship, I aim to gain firsthand experience in the design, implementation, and evaluation of global

conflict settings. Working within the UN system will provide me with valuable insights into the development and
implementation of evidence-based interventions that address these pressing issues.
One aspect of my career development during the internship will be to enhance my research skills. I intend to
actively engage in research projects and contribute to the production of evidence that informs health policies at a
global level. I will leverage my previous experiences in independent and team-led research, medical report
writing, and data analysis to effectively contribute to ongoing initiatives within the UN. I have seen firsthand
how evidence based practices and clinical findings helped patient managements in and out of the hospital and
would love to be involved in similar processes within the UN community to further develop my expertise in this.
Through this internship, I aim to forge connections and lay the foundation for a long-term career within the UN
or other international organizations dedicated to improving global health
In overall, my career plan during the UN internship is to acquire practical skills, knowledge, and experiences that
will enable me to become a global health leader and advocate. I aspire to contribute to the development and
implementation of evidence-based policies, programs, and interventions that address health disparities, promote
health equity, and drive sustainable development.
