LAC on Classroom management

Narrative Report on
Pursuant to DepEd Order no. 35, s. 2016, in line with the implementation of
Republic Act No. 10533, or the enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, the
Department of Education (DepEd) issues the enclosed policy on Learning Action
Cell (LAC) as K to 12 Basic Education Program School-Based Continuing
Professional Development Strategy for the improvement of Teaching and Learning.

With this, Cadulawan Elementary School conducted its first approved LAC
session regarding Classroom Management on January 6, 2023, at exactly 3:00pm
in the afternoon. This is to refresh the management system inside the classroom.
Classroom management refers to the wide variety of skills and techniques that
teachers use to keep students organized, orderly, focused, attentive, on task, and
academically productive during a class. When classroom-management strategies
are executed effectively, teachers minimize the behaviors that impede learning for
both individual students and groups of students, while maximizing the behaviors
that facilitate or enhance learning. Generally speaking, effective teachers tend to
display strong classroom-management skills, while the hallmark of the
inexperienced or less effective teacher is a disorderly classroom filled with
students who are not working or paying attention.

The LAC sessions was successfully done with a closing prayer lead by Sir
Jaylanie T. Arimao. Attached are the pictures taken during the LAC session.
