in the principal’s office. It was participated by 11 teachers together with the
principal Ms. Joylane S. Pangasian. The resource speakers were Mr Gil C.
Ouano and Ms Lilibeth O. Belen. The first speakers discussed the
characteristics of performance assessment. It said that this assessment
should integrate two or more subjects, also, there are steps to be followed.
The second speaker presented a demonstration applying this learning in
lesson planning and in teaching. The participants acted as a learners. There
were activities given in which integrative performance task were manifested.

More so, this session helps the teachers’ recognized general learning
processes to be used in making the assessment, as well as unique processes
of individual learners.

During the demonstration, I understand deeper on how is this

integrative performance task made. What subject to be used as a core subject
in which two or more subjects can be integrated? It was quite hard in the
beginning, but if you try nothing is impossible. Eventually, we will be used to it.
And because, we are teachers so we must embrace this new normal.
