TOPIC: ECONOMIC AND POSITIVE EFFECT OF RURAL

DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

1. What is the economic importance of rural development? (5points)

Ans: As you mention that rural development involves improving the quality
of life and economic well-being of people living in rural areas, often
relatively isolated and sparsely populated. So, the efforts of developing the
rural areas are aimed at creating industries and employment opportunities
towards the people. The rural areas have generally been dependent on
agriculture and natural resources for their economic upturn. The rural
development gives and provide a huge opportunity to the people and
economy because it ensuring that the benefits of development and growth
reach all citizens living in the country.

2. What are the benefits of rural development in Philippines? (5 points)

Ans: As we notice there are lots of changes happen in our place or
communities. From that changes we gain a lot of benefits that makes are life
easier and faster. The benefits that we can get in the development of rural
are the following we have better transportation that can reduced travel time
and improved access to markets. A lot of people can land a job because of
the program and projects that government provide. Access to education is
one of the priorities, as we can see because of the rural development people
can easily go to school to their near area.

3. In your own opinion, how does rural development reduce poverty? (10
points)
Ans: For me, based on my experience the rural development can reduce
poverty, as what I have mention people can land a job especially for the
youth. Nonfarm and farm can benefit also the development of the economy.
As we notice that there are a lot of program and projects for agricultural
livelihoods, that even in their convenient place they can earn through their
skills. By that, even if it is simple, they can address and lessen their
problems.
