1. The energy has different manifestations or forms, complete the following table by writing
the name of each form. (28 points).

Description Name
This form of energy is released when we perform nuclear reactions
(fusion of fission), mass is converted into energy.
This is the form of energy that we can observe in light beams and
in our houses, devices like the screens and computers work with it.
This form of energy can be directly seen with our eyes, at least
one part of the whole spectrum.
This manifestation is the result of the internal movement of the
molecules, it is related to the temperature of the objects.
This is the energy of the wind, nowadays it is quite interesting for
the possibility to convert it into electricity using windmills.
This is the energy contained in the chemical bonds of the matter,
such as the energy released when wood (biomass) burns.
This kind of energy is associated with vibrations known as sound.

2. Complete the chart by writing yes or no for each one of the four natural states of matter.
(72 points).

Solid Liquid Gas Plasma

Condensed?
Defined shape?
Fixed volume?
Compressible?
Do the molecules flow?
Is it neutral?

2. A change when the molecules are kept intact, without an identity change, only the way the are
organized is known as: ___________________________________.
3. A change when the molecules modify their structure, chemical bonds are broken and formed
changing the identity of the substances is known as: _____________________________.
4. Classify the following changes as physical or chemical. 2 to 3 (5 points each), 4 = 20 points.

5. Classify the listed properties as physical or chemical (P or C), it if it physical further classify
it as intensive or extensive (I or E), if it is chemical, write a hyphen in the last column. (54 P).
