I am writing to express my interest in the safety and risk consultant position at Worley, as advertised on
company website. With my strong educational background and passion for process safety, I am
confident in my ability to contribute to Worley's objectives.

I have graduated from University of Malaya with a master’s degree in Renewable Energy. In addition, I
do possess bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from University Technology Malaysia. As relevant
to bachelor’s degree studies, I had the opportunity to develop a solid foundation in process safety and
operability which consist of subjects such as HAZOP, HAZID, PHA, HRA and LOPA. The curriculum
provided me with a comprehensive understanding of process safety, and I am excited to apply this
knowledge in a practical setting. I have applied these theories in my plant design projects as well. As an
achievement, I had passed the subject with flying colors and manage to obtain 3 rd best placing for my
plant design project.

Additionally, I actively participated in inter-benchmarking program, engineering workshop and sports

tournaments during my time at university. These experiences allowed me to enhance my
communication, teamwork, leadership and problem-solving skills while collaborating with diverse
groups of individuals. I believe that these skills, combined with my academic background, make me a
well-rounded candidate for the safety and risk consultant position.

During my internship period, I demonstrate my ability at YTY Industry which are pioneer in
manufacturing nitrile gloves. I effectively learnt about the machinery and process of nitrile glove
manufacturing. I had successfully completed task as assigned by my mentor which is related to sizing of
machinery and determine the velocity of process manufacturing in each equipment.

I am particularly drawn to Selekta Spektra because of its reputation as an industry leader and its
commitment to waste management as this respective company is well known at northern of Malaysia. I
am inspired by the training I have attended which were E-Waste handling and Bridging Engineering in
Waste Management which involves holistic ways of solid waste handling which would be thrilled to
contribute to your organization's continued success. I have been 2 months working in this company.
Although it’s a short period but I would grab the opportunity to work with Worley as this is my chance
for my career growth in this prestigious company.
