Tuesday 23rd May

What was your role within the group?- Today I was put in a group With Charlie. my Role
was helping with the mind maps as well as writing the middle of our short film called money
chase I also helped add terminology such as camera shots
What went well?- everything we had planned went too plan we completed our tasks well
and on time.
What didn’t go so well?- getting more ideas for the story of our short film
What would you do differently?- if we had more time we would come up with more ideas
What did you learn? - we learnt about the different qualities that people bring into the group
and how to set up a story for our short film.
Did you work safely in line with the safety measures from your risk assessments,
location-yes
recee’s and legal and ethical?

Wednesday 24th May

What was your role within the group?- me and charlie finished putting the different
camera angles for each of our shots and then we started our individual work about the BBFC
writing about them and what they do as well as writing about the different classifications and
what they mean

What went well?- the BBFC task is going very well I have explained the different
classifications as well as including images of the different ratings

What would you do differently?- I would work quicker to trey and finish the BBFC task

What did you learn? - I learnt about the BBFC and what they do as well as what the
different film ratings ,mean

Monday 6th June

What was the role within your group?- Today I helped charlie with the shot list
What went well?- we worked well as a group and we were able to get alot done in our shot
list.
What would you do differently?- I would work quicker to try and finish the task faster
Tuesday 7th june
What was your role in the group?- Today me and Charlie worked together to get through
the storyboard. I added the shot number and the action while charlie did the mise en scene
What went well?- me and charlie worked hard to get through the storyboard
What would you do differently?- i would work quicker so that we can begin filming our
short film
What did you learn- Today I learnt how to create a storyboard
Did you work safely in line with the safety measures from your risk assessments,
location-yes

Wednesday 8th June

What was your role in the group?- me and Charlie made progress with the story boards
What went well?- we were able to get alot done with our story board
What would you do differently?- I would work faster as I have not even drawn the pictures
yet.
What did you learn?- I learnt about the different aspects of the creation of the story board

Thursday 9th June

What was your role in the group?-Today I Printed out the storyboard and Charlie and I
worked together to complete the drawings.
What went well?- we finally completed the storyboard and we started the drawing which is
going well.
What would you do differently?- I would take more time on my drawings because some of
them aren't very good
What did you learn?- I learnt how to draw

Monday 12th June

What was your role in the group?- today I finished the story board then moved on to the
risk assessment for our filming locations
What went well?- we completed the storyboards on time and moved onto the risk
assessment
What would you do differently?- I wouldn’t change anything everything went to plan
What did you learn?- I learnt about the different risks of our locations.

Wednesday 14th June

What was your role in the group?- today I finished the risk assessments for the different
locations and started to prepare for filming and we started filming
What went well?- we started filming our short film
What would you do differently?- I would be quicker when getting the camera equipment
so we can film our short film
What did you learn?- I learnt how to use the camera

Monday 19th June

What was your role in the group?- Today I controlled the camera when filming our short
film.
What went well?- today we filmed the beginning and the end of the short film
What would you do differently?- nothing everything went to plan
What did you learn?- I learnt how to use the camera.

Tuesday 20th June

What was your role in your group?- today we finished filming then downloaded all of the
footage off for the camera for editing
What went well?- we finished all of our camera work in good time.
What would you do differently?- I would improve my shots so they are of higher quality.
What did you learn?- I learnt how to get the footage off the camera.
Wednesday 21st June
What was your role in the group?- Today we started the shot list to decide what shots we
were going to use for our short film, then I started the EDL editing list to decide in what order
my shots were going to be.
What went well?- I finished the shot list quite quickly which enabled me to move on to the
editing list.
What would you do differently?- I would layout my shot list better as I found it slightly
confusing to read
What did you learn?- I learnt how to layout the shot list and editing list

Thursday 22nd June

What was your role in the group?- I finished my editing list and then started to edit my
short film.
What went well?- I finished my editing list and then started my editing
What would you do differently?- I would layout my editing list so that it is less confusing
What did you learn?- I learnt how to begin my editing of my short film

Friday 23rd June

What was your role in the group?-today I continued to edit my short film
What went well?- I edited my short film very well.
What would you do differently?- I would improve my editing to make my short film a higher
quality.
What did you learn?- I learnt how to edit my short film.

What was your role in the group?- today I finished my paperwork and put it on a blog
What went well?- I finished all of the paperwork
What would you do Differently?- get my work right first time then It wouldn't take so long
What did you learn?- I learnt how to correctly layout all of my paperwork
