Wonga advert
● Slogan:”Straight talking money”

● Target Audience:The target audience for this advertisement is 18-40 year olds who
are financially unstable and need loans to be able to pay for things like student loans.
And for the older generations they need the loans to pay off their mortgage or repair
something that is broken

● Analysis:The advert starts with upbeat music that has been edited to suit the
advert. The original song is called Mr Sandman. As the song is so catchy it is easy
for the song to be stuck in our minds so therefore we associate that song with the
advert which makes us remember the advert. The song is also accompanied by a
male voice which makes the song better and more catchy. The song provides the
consumers with a positive and reassuring feeling that wonga will take care of all your
problems. The song is then followed by a female voice which reads out all the T’s
and C’s and then the slogan plays at the end.

Coca Cola advert


● Slogan:”Open for happiness.”

● Target Audience: The target audience for this advertisement is 15-45 year olds this
is because people within the target audience are brand conscious as owning a bottle
of coke is a form of social status. The coca cola advert is seen as a lifestyle of fun
partying and relaxing. Young people want to see themselves as having fun and want
their social status to be improved by buying a top brand such as coca cola instead of
store brand alternatives.

● Analysis:The advert opens with sounds of the seaside as well as sounds of fun. The
sounds of fun are then followed by a male voice talking to a character called thrust
asking if he wants to hear some sounds which thrust then agrees to. The man then
plays a series of sounds then after plays a sound of a coca cola being opened and
poured into a glass and drank. From the advert we can tell that the coca cola is
refreshing as the drinking sound effect is followed by a reassuring “Ahhhhhh ''. Within
the advert there is a party atmosphere which shows how coca cola makes people
feel when they drink it at the end of the advert the slogan plays at the end.
Lipton Ice Tea advert
● Slogan:”It’s not just god for you its mmm”

● Target Audience:The target audience for this advert is 18-50 years old.
People who wish to be healthy the target audience is everyone no matter the
gender or ethnicity. People would want to buy this as they will think because it
is a known drink around the world there popularity will increase if they buy the
drink. Furthermore green tea is seen as a healthy drink so people may buy
this drink to be healthy but they would also buy it because it tastes good.

● Analysis: People from all different countries and all different backgrounds
enjoy lipton green tea as within the advert the sound effect mmm is used
which is the universal sound for something that tastes good. The use of the
universal sound shows what impact the drink has on people with different
backgrounds and in a way the advert helps bring the world closer together as
lipton green tea is something the people of the world and different planets
have in common.
