It’s a type of operating system with to key features
predictability and determinism. In RTOS repeated
tasks are performed
 Heart rate checker
Operating system that must be always run.
2-Embedded operating system:
Designed to increase functionality and reliability for
achieving a specific task.
 ATM
 Satellite navigation

Because I have an employees that must work on a
computer to program and update our Microsoft
Windows OS, performing another tasks as there is a
team which is responsible for online sales. And
another team is responsible for online Customer
support. All these teams’ works on computers which
run with windows OS (Single user multi task).
 Single user -single task OS
Also we have a printers to print some reports for

 Multi users OS
Of course we have air coolers which is run with
embedded OS that can perform a single task which
is cooling the air for multi users.

 HDD (Hard Disk Drive)
Hard disks are not the computer’s main
memory. Because it’s not fast
 SSD(Solid State Drive)
Solid state drive is the main memory because it’s very fast
so you have to set your operating system on SSD.
 Flash Memory
A non-volatile memory chip used for storage and for
transferring data between two a personal computer.

the data and make a backup to be safety

 Communication devices

 Routers
 Access points
3. Data Connection
The ability to process digital data by connecting the
operating system with applications and systems.

2- Types of data connections:

There is two ways of connection
1. Wired Connection:
This is the jack in the wall that you plug your computer
into for network access.

Ethernet cable: connecting number of computers with

LAN.

Fiber optic: flexible, which can move more distances

and higher than electrical cables.

HDMI & DVI: two main digital connectors used in

computers and entertainment system
2. Wireless Connection:

Computer network that uses wireless data connections

between network nodes.

Bluetooth: this method used to connect microphone,

keyboards, and headphones.

-Fewer security concerns -you don't need extra
cables

-does not provide mobility -Increased chance of
jamming.
-dealing with a bunch of -Transmission speed is
cables  comparably less

After this simple comparison between wired and

wireless connection I would prefer to use wireless
connection to reduce the big coast of cables to
increase our profit.

1. Network

A personal area network is the smallest and
simplest type of network. PANs connect devices
within the range of an individual and are no larger
than about 10 meters

4- VPN (Virtual Privet Network)

A virtual private network creates a private network

overlay across an existing public network. VPNs use
tunneling protocols that create encrypted
connections between the network and client
devices.

3- Choose a suitable type for your organization:

IN My organization I will choose two type of
network which is LAN and WAN
