Customer Service

The room attendant has been ordered to clean the room. She is unaware that the guest has malicious intentions
for her. The guest attempted to sexually harass the housekeeper, and in the end, the staff was charged of sexual
harassment by the guest.

Script

Guest called the Front Office and asked to clean his room. The Front Office called the Room Attendant
Supervisor to advise that the specific room is calling for a cleaning service.

(Gia) Front Officer: Hello, this is Gia from the front office. Mr. Recastacion, room number ___ want his room to
be clean now.

The Room Attendant Supervisor (Khrystel) assigned her room attendant named (Jana) to clean the room of the
guest.

(Jana) Room Attendant: *knocked* Housekeeping!

The guest opened the door.

(Jana) Room Attendant: Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening, Sir Recastacion. May I service your room now
please?

(Recas) Guest: *he smirked* Yes please!

He (guest) let the room attendant come in. As the Room room attendant came in and passed by the guest, the
guest looked at the room attendant from head to toe.

The room attendant started to clean the room as she was assigned to. After a few minutes, the Room Attendant
Supervisor (Khrystel) headed to the room to assist the room attendant that she assigned to clean up the guest's
room.

The room attendant supervisor was already in front of the guest's room and the other cleaning materials were
outside but the door was closed.

(Khrystel) Room Attendant Supervisor: *knocked* Housekeeping!

The guest didn't respond. So the Room Attendant Supervisor knocked again.

(Khrystel) Room Attendant Supervisor: *knocked* Housekeeping!

This time the Room Attendant Supervisor decided to open the door but the door is double locked! She fastly uses
the emergency keys to open the door. The room attendant supervisor just had an inspection to ensure that the
desired results or standards of the hotel are consistently achieved.

The guest (Recastacion) noticed that there was someone in the room so he suddenly appeared from the
restroom, acted nervous and ran towards the Room Attendant Supervisor.

(Khrystel) Room Attendant Supervisor: Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening, Sir Recastacion, I am Krystel,

Room Attendant Supervisor. I knocked and…

The guest interrupted the Room Attendant Supervisor and said.

(Recas) Guest: Help! The attendant! She was attempting to harass me! I just want her to clean the room, but..
She was about to harrass me.

Suddenly, the room attendant (Jana) turned and walked hurriedly outside the guest's room with her head down.
The room attendant became pale and scared.

(Khrystel) Room Attendant Supervisor: Sir, as a Room Attendant Supervisor, I need to ensure all rooms and
public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards. And it is also my responsibility to lead, train,
assist and supervise the room attendants. Sexual misconduct is not okay and accusing someone of something
you may not have the evidence at all. The legal system of the hotel will determine whether or not a crime or
policy violation has taken place. Please come with us!

(Recas) Guest: Okay. I'll follow. *stuttering*

The Room Attendant and Supervisor walked down the hall to the control room. The supervisor also called the
manager to discuss the major accusations made by the guest against the room attendant.

When everyone was already there, the Room Attendant Supervisor kindly asked the Room Attendant what
happened.

Jana (Room Attendant): As I enter the room, I think there is nothing I need to clean with because everything
appears to be in order, but I still did my job, cleaning the room and then cleaning the restroom. Everything was
fine until a few minutes later, while I was cleaning the restroom, he pushed me against the wall and attempted to
sexually harass me. Until he heard and noticed someone coming in, and it was the Room Attendant Supervisor,
and he quickly left me and ran from the restroom, acting as if I had abused him. He's begging for help when I
was the one being harassed! The room attendant supervisor noticed me with my face down and hurriedly went
outside, leaving me to cry.

Recas (Guest): That is not true! I simply inform the front desk that I would like to have my room cleaned; there is
no such thing as me causing harassment! I am the victim in this situation. She did, in fact, lock the door. She has
a strong interest in me! How did you get this kind of employee!
Leah (Surveillance Officer): According to the CCTV footage, Jana (room attendant) was moving nervously from
the guest's room, head down and sobbing uncontrollably. Mr. Recastacion was clearly the one left at the door
after Ms. Jana went inside, and he glanced outside, left and right, to see if there were other people around his
room before it all happened. So he's most likely the one who locked the door.

Recas (Guest): Oh wow! Such a great actress! *aggressively*

Khrystel (Room Attendant Supervisor): Sir, please calm down. We must resolve this in the most appropriate
manner possible.

Claire (Front Office Manager): I have a record of his operations in our hotel, from days to months of check ins
and check outs, and every person he's with, and it's always different girls. This could be an obvious sign too.

Justin (Hotel Manager): That’s pretty much it. I don’t know what else I can be frustrated about. For instance,
Mr. Recastacion, is clearly sexually abuse miss Jana Rivera in his room. That happened! No argument about it. I
really think you are a good person and we are very much happy to do services to our valued guests, but I worry
that this one thing you did makes people feel bad and will get in your way. You crossed the line Mr. Recastacion!
You made repeated degrading or demeaning records, that makes everyone feel unsafe now and I don't want
this kind of misconduct in my workplace. I will may then be in a position to take legal action for my employee and
the company for the sexual harassment she endured on my workplace.
