ABB REF 615

Example of a tripping logic with a downstream blocking signal combined with a pulse timer.

FUNCTION LIST
UPSTEAM_OC_BLOCKING
Blocking signal from the ABB615 downstream. It is an output signal that depends on the
overcurrent protection from the downstream relay.
PHLPTOC
Three-phase non directional overcurrent protection, low stage.

PHIPTOC
Three-phase non directional overcurrent protection, instantaneous stage.
EFIPTOC
Non-directional earth fault protection, instantaneous stage.
NSPTOC

Negative-sequence overcurrent protection.

T1PTTR1
Three-phase thermal protection for feeders, cables and distribution transformers.
ARCSARC
Arc protection

CBRCBRF1_TRRET
Circuit breaker failure protection function has two operating outputs:
TREET: operate output used for retripping its own breaker.
TRBU: output used to give a backup trip to the breaker feeding upstream.
PTGAPC

Pulse timer function block PTGAPC contains eight independent timers.

The function has a settable pulse length. Once the input is activated, the output is set for a
specific duration using the Pulse delay time setting.
