1.0 ACKNOWLEGEMENT

Assalammualaikum,

First of all, we would like to acknowledge and give our warmest thanks to our
lecturer Madam Siti Hasma Hajar Mat Zin who made this work possible. Her
guidance and advice have carried us through all process of writing our project. I
would also like to thanks my committee member for your brilliant comments and
suggestions.

Last but not least, we also would like to thanks to our family for their support
and understanding when we are doing the research and writing this project. Your
prayers have made us sustained until now.

2.0 INTRODUCTION

Our topic research is about use of facilities by student in UITM Segamat,

Johor. As we all know, we got tons of facilities in UITM Segamat. So, we wanted to
know either the student utilizes the use of facilities or not.

The main reason why we choose this research because we want to see
whether the student satisfied with the current facilities or not. We also wanted to
know either the facilities gave benefits through student in campus Segamat.

Our objectives of this study are to find how often student use facilities in
campus. Next one is, we want to find when student usually use the facilities. Other
than that, we also wanted to know whether the student satisfied with the current
facilities. Our last objective is to find either the student wanted any improvement in
the current facilities

3.0 SAMPLING TECHNIQUE

During this research, we have used a non-probability sampling technique

which is snowball sampling. Snowball sampling mostly has been selected by initial
group of respondent or usually at random. After the respondent done being
interview, they will be asked to find someone who fit to be respondent in the
research. This method will be done after the interviewer has reach their required
number of respondents. Advantage of snowball sampling is it easier to find sample
and cost effective.

4.0 DATA COLLECTION METHOD

During this research, we have received data from using primary data
method which is we asked directly using media social sites. Our group member has
use media social sites such as ‘WhatsApp’ and ‘Telegram’ to gathered all this data.
Why we use media social sites rather than asked face to face because it’s much
easier and save time. During this 21st century, most of people nowadays use online
method due to increasingly sophisticated technology. However, this method still has
disadvantages which is respondent can ignore the questionnaire.

Based on the pie, we can conclude that we got 19 female and 24 male that
responded to this sample. In percentage, 55.8% of the repondents is male and
the other 44.2% of the respondents is female.

Based on the pie chart, we got 41 respondents from part 2 diploma in UiTM
Segamat and only 2 respondents from part 4. The respondents from part 2 is
95.3% of the number of respondents and for part 4 it is 4.7%. Unfortunately,
we were not able to get respondents from part 1, part 3 and part 5 of diploma
students in UiTM Segamat.

Based on the pie chart, 17 of the respondents uses the facilities every
day and 19 of the respondents uses once a week and the other 7 uses
only once a month. In percentage,39.5% uses the facilities every
day,44.2% uses the facilities once a week and lastly 16.3% uses the
facilities once a month.

Based on the charts,4 respondents use the facilities from 8am to 10am,10
respondents use the facilities from 10am to 12pm while 17 respondents use
the facilities for 12pm to 2pm and lastly 12 respondents use the facilities from
2pm to 4pm

Based on the pie chart, as we can see most of the student in campus
UITM Segamat are satisfy with the current facilities. As we can see,
satisfy rate is 72.1% with 31 vote and unsatisfied rate 27.9% with 12
votes.

are 69.8% with 30 votes and student that doesn’t want improvement are

6.0 THE CONCLUSIONS

 In conclusion, study on facilities provided in UiTM Segamat is done to know
the frequency,time,satisfactory and feedback from Diploma students that studied in
UiTM Segamat. The study uses the snowball sampling technique to gather
respondents and collects data and information through online questionnaire. The
study were able to gather a total amount of 43 respondents that consisted of 19
female respondents and 24 male respondents.The study is conquered by students
from part 2 Diploma students that covered 95.3% of the respondents and the other
4.3% is from part 4.

The majority of the respondents uses the facilities on weekly basis. 44.2% of
the respondents said they uses these facilities on weekly while the 2 nd majority said
they uses the facilities on daily basis.The respondents that uses the facilities on daily
basis covered 39.5% of the respondents.The other 16.3% of respondents said to be
use the facilities once a month.

The time that these students varies but majority of the respondents uses the
facilities from 12pm to 2pm. The majority is amounted at 39.5% of the
respondents.27.9% uses the facilities from 2pm to 4pm.23.3% uses the facilities
from 10am to 12pm. The 9.3% minority said to use the facilities from 8am to 10am.

As for the satisfactory, majority of the respondents are satisfied with the
facilities that is provided.The amount of respondents that is satisfied with the facilities
is 31 out of 43. That means 72.1% of the respondents is satisfied. While on the other
hand,12 out of 43 respondents aren’t satisfied with the facilities.

Lastly,eventhough majority of respondents said to be satisfied with the

facilities,majority of the respondents still wants improvement to be made in the
future. 69.8% of respondents still wanting improvement and the other 30.2% is fine
with the current facilities.

Overall this study intention is to understand what the Diploma students of UiTM
Segamat thinks of the facilities that is provided for them.
