) 91

1~, Meotoike, Mt. Tsurugi, 2. V. 1969 (M. Yoshida leg.).
The holotype and some paratypes are deposited in the collection of the Ento-
mological Laboratory of Ehime University.
Distribution: Japan (Shikoku).
Host-plant: Undetermined moss.
This new species is allied to A. miyamotoi Takeya, but the former can easily be
distinguished from the latter in the following different points: larger size, paler
colouration, wider quadriseriate paranotum, wider biseriate costal area which is
triseriate apically, etc.
As far as the author knows, this species inhabits only high altitudes of Mt.
Tsurugi.
