Space and Infrastructure Lead • To coordinate activities
between physical space

• Supporting faculty Exec in
developing policies and
processes. Link across
Faculties to join up way of
working where
appropriate.
• Act as main Faculty
coordinator for estates
projects linking
stakeholders to those
delivering upgrades and
maintenance. This
includes understanding
faculty needs and
managing
communications both
ways.
• Responsible for delivery
of faculty lead
infrastructure projects.
• Coordinating activities
with technical services, IT,
education, research, and
doctoral college to
address requirements of
faculty.
• Ensure space is well
utilised in line with Net
Zero ambitions including
coordinating data
associated space use
across the faculty.
• Manage infrastructure
budget on behalf of
Faculty. Balance requests
from departments and
ensure they are in line
with faculty policy.
• Coordinate complex
moves and
improvements. Ensure
resources are available.
• Coordinate complex OH
requirements (that have
impact on the fabric of
the building or building
strategies).
• Support H&S/business
continuity that is
infrastructure related at a
faculty level.
• Coordinate access
requirements. Manage
ARX groups.

Infrastructure and Projects Officer • Deliver moves by ensuring


all logistics teams are

• OH furniture and equipment
orders where building fabric
is not impacted.
• Ensure building signage kept
up to date.
• Key management and some
ARX including bulk upload
• Conduct audits of space and
action resulting tasks.

relevant to department as
required for Faculty level
reporting.
• Parking permits and cones.
• Keeping distribution list up
to date
• IT orders and equipment
management
• Straight forward ARX
requirements
• Managing department
paper (archiving and
disposal etc)
• Raising straight forward
maintenance and move it
requests (changing light
bulbs, whiteboards, fixes
etc.). Let Infrastructure
team know if not
completed.
• Report back to Faculty level
H&S committee on
infrastructure issues that
are risk factors.
