Introduction
A dog collar is a piece of material put around the neck of a dog. A collar may be used for
restraint, identification, fashion, or protection. Identification tags and medical information are

often placed on dog collars.[1] Collars are often used in conjunction with a leash for restraining a
dog. Collars can be traumatic to the trachea if the dog pulls against the restraint of the leash,
causing severe pressure to the neck. Use of a harness instead of a collar may be beneficial for
dogs prone to tracheitis or those with a collapsed trachea. Conversely, dog breeds with slender
necks or smaller heads may easily slip out of collars that are too loose

the Covid-19 pandemic has made everyone understand why it is vital to keep a track of your
health and stay fit. While people can buy several health gadgets to monitor their health, has
unveiled a Smart Collar for dogs at CES 2022.

This gadget could be helpful for those pet lovers who want to track the health of their dogs,
which will help them address any issue in advance. While it is unknown how effective this
product is, the company claims that this Smart Dog Collar can monitor vitals like resting
respiratory and heart rate. The company says it has worked with certified veterinary cardiologists
to develop deep learning AI that leverages radar sensors to take readings from the neck of your
canine friend.
It is being said that the gadget works regardless of how furry a dog is. The radar sensors can
track heart and respiratory rate by the speed and movement of the dog. The company says that
this smart collar doesn’t need a tighter fit to get accurate heart rate readings, unlike the wearables
that we use, which need proper skin contact.

The Smart Dog Collar can also help track the location of dogs as it features GPS and can be used
as an activity tracker. This feature could be useful to check if your pet is safe at home when you
are away at work or travelling somewhere.

While pet tracking is not new, the key selling point of Smart Dog Collar is that it can also track
health. With this smart collar, users will be able to monitor their dog’s daily activity and get
details on when the dog is walking, running, scratching, eating or drinking, barking, and resting,
as per a report by The Verge.
7
The Smart collar comes with support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and LTE connectivity, so people
will be able to monitor their dog’s health and activities remotely. Furthermore, users will be able
to check all these tracked activities and health data on the company’s companion app. It includes
charts as well as graphics to offer a better look.

BASIC COLLAR

 Buckle collars, also called flat collars,[4] with a buckle similar to a belt buckle, or a
quick-release buckle, either of which holds the collar loosely around the dog's neck.
Identification is commonly attached to such a collar; it also comes with a loop to

8
which a leash can be fastened. This is the most standard collar for dogs. A flat collar
should fit comfortably tight on the dog's neck. It should not be so tight as to choke the
dog nor so loose that they can slip out of it. Generally, you should be able to fit two

fingers underneath the collar.[5]

 Break-away collars look similar to buckle collars, but have a safety mechanism installed
that allows the dog to break free of the collar if excessive force is applied. These collars
are useful in situations where a non-quick release collar could get snagged and strangle

the dog.[6]
 Safety stretch collars contain an elastic panel in the sturdy nylon collar, which allows
escape from potential strangulation dangers such as branches, fences, gates and other
dogs. Unlike breakaways, a stretch collar acts like a traditional collar when clipped with
a leash.

 Stud collars, also called wolf collars, protection collars, or spiked collars depending on
the attachments, are collars fitted with metal studs, dulled points, or sharp points that
traditionally prevented another animal from biting the dog's neck. Commonly, spikes are
hand-set and tightly riveted for extra security. This type of collar dates back to ancient
Greece, when dogs protecting livestock were given nail-studded collars to protect them
from wolves or other predators. In modern societies, stud collars are more commonly
considered a fashion accessory.
 Reflective collars, usually made with nylon webbing, incorporate reflective tape that
ensures that the dog will be seen at night by approaching vehicles.
 Fur saver collars are a kind of slip chain that contain fewer and longer individual links
than a close link chain, also known as a long link fur saver collar. Fur saver collars can
be used both for long and short-haired breeds limiting damage to the dog's fur. It can be
used for training and daily use as well. The fur saver collar can be 'locked out' preventing
it from constricting by attaching the leash connector to any link within the chain, this
mitigates the unlimited traction effect associated with a slip chain.

Research methodology

3.1 Introduction

Research methodological chapter is considered to be highly crucial in every type of research.

The main effectiveness of this chapter is that it reflects the type of tools and techniques
employed for conducting the study. The present research focuses on determining the
effectiveness of the different social media applications and its role in international business
management. Further, for attaining the aim of the research different methodological tools have
been selected. Researcher has focused on obtaining both primary and secondary information and
through this it has become possible to gather adequate amount of information that is crucial for
conducting the investigation.

3.2 Research design

20
Research design is mainly regarded as the methods and framework selected by the researcher. Mainly
with the help of research design it becomes possible for the investigator to understand about the type
of research like whether it is survey, correlational or any other (Mohajan, 2018). Generally, when the
research design is impactful then it creates minimum bias in the data and at the same time level of
trust increases in the accuracy of the collected data. Mainly some essential elements of research
design are present and they are very crucial. The key elements are methods applied for analyzing the
collected details, timeline, purpose statement of the research, methods for collecting and analyzing
the overall research and at last

measurement of the analysis. Selection of right research design helps a lot in attaining the aim
and objectives of the research.

Different type of research designs are descriptive, experimental, correlational, explanatory etc. In
the case of descriptive design researcher mainly focuses on describing the situation and this type
of design is theory based that is mainly developed by analyzing, gathering and presenting the
data 17 in a systematic manner (Ørngreen and Levinsen, 2017). Experimental design helps a lot
in establishing the relationship between cause and effect of a situation. Through this design it is
possible to understand the impact caused by independent variable on the dependent one.
Explanatory design utilizes the thoughts and ideas on the particular subject with the motive to
explore various theories.

In the current investigation descriptive design has been selected by the researcher. Mainly, with
the help of this design researcher has focused on describing the effectiveness of the social media
applications for the global firms. It is possible for the readers to understand about the pros and
cons of social media and accordingly businesses at international level can utilize various
platforms for their benefit. Other designs are not applicable in the current investigation such as
experimental as it is not possible to develop relationship between the cause and effect.

21
3.3 Research approach

Research approach highlights the plan and procedures for the research that spans steps from the
broad assumptions to the

detailed technique of data collection, analysis and interpretation. Research approach is mainly
segregated into three main types that involves inductive, deductive and abductive. All these
approaches differ from each other. In the inductive approach the study moves from specific to
general form, in deductive one it is vice versa and in abductive interaction between general and
specific takes place . With the assistance of inductive approach it is possible to explore
phenomenon and at the same time themes are formed. In deductive approach data collection is
mainly utilized for evaluating the propositions and at last in abductive approach themes are
identified and conceptual framework is built.

In the current investigation researcher has focused on selection of inductive approach and it is
directly applicable in the present study. Research has been carried out specifically for the
international firms operating in UK. Different international companies have been

22
selected for carrying out investigation and the findings of the research are applicable to the other
international businesses also operating in the market. In this case inductive approach is beneficial
as through the data collection researcher has focused on development of the themes that
represents the key results. On the basis of data collected researcher has formed conceptual
framework and it is highly beneficial for the entire investigation.

Research type

Research type mainly supports in knowing about the nature of the study. The main research
types are qualitative and quantitative. Mainly the qualitative research is utilized so as to gain
understanding about the motivations and opinions (Kumar, 2018).

The best part of this type of research is that it helps in providing insights into the issues for the
development of the ideas or the hypothesis and in turn the entire research is carried out in a
systematic manner through this. The data collection methods that are utilized in the qualitative
study are interview, observation etc and they support in obtaining adequate amount of data.

On the other hand, quantitative research is somehow different where it is based on the numerical
data. Main motive of this type of research is to identify the behavior, attitude, opinion etc of the
people. In this type of research measurable data is utilized for formulating the facts. Survey is
one of the main technique through which quantitative data is obtained.

Research limitations

Limitations in the research represent the attributes of design or the methodology that influences
the interpretation or the key findings of the investigation (Kumar, 2018). Further, limitations are
mainly the constraints associated with the investigation. In the current investigation also certain
limitations are present. One of the main limitations is time where researcher has to obtain
primary data from the different companies and it is time consuming process. Sometime the
managers of the firm are unable to devote time from their busy schedule and their participation
in the research becomes difficult. Another main limitation is cost where in the various areas cost
is incurred such as conducting survey, approaching individual participants etc. So, cost is also
the key limitation associated with the study.

25
Ethical consideration

Ethics play most important role in the research as it represents what is right and wrong. Certain
ethical norms are present in the research such as securing the data of the research, no disclosing
the information of the participants to the third parties etc. It is highly important or valuable to
adhere to the ethical norms as it helps in promoting the aim of the study such as truth, knowledge
etc.

In the current investigation researcher has strongly focused on managing ethics. Certain ethical
issues have been raised in the study as researcher has obtained primary information from the
managers and in this case managers do not prefer to share confidential information of their
company. Hence, this ethical issue is managed or tackled by the researcher by storing and
securing the confidential information in a private place. IT systems have been utilized for storing
information and this has supported in avoiding the ethical issue.

conclusion

Hence, all the research methodological tools have been selected on the basis of nature of the
study. Further, both primary and secondary sources of data collection have been considered by
the researcher and this has supported in obtaining adequate amount of data. Additionally, data
analysis technique is qualitative where thematic method has been adopted. By applying all the
methodological tools in an appropriate manner it has become possible to attain the objectives of
the investigation

Strategy and Implementation

Our strategy is based on smart collar for dog a strong customer value proposition in a niche
market. We are looking to offer the Local city and its surrounding areas a new and different
tupe with new technology based smart collar choice in options. We are building our marketing
infrastructure so that we can eventually reach more customers to purchase the smart collar
offering. We focus on satisfying the needs of those customers those who loves the pets and also
care for the pets. We intend to use various forms of marketing communication as an efficient
way to reach our target market and raise their awareness about our new technology and
upgrade smart collar for dog offerings. In addition, we will use effective advertising tools to
promote the product. The usage of flyers is a common way to advertise in the area. We will also
hire people to hold signs near Industrial Park. Door handle flyer promotion can be helpful
throughout the Local neighbourhoods. Adequate funding has been accounted for when projecting
the promotion expenses. We intend to spend the marketing money in the most cost- effective
way. Therefore, many other advertising options will be evaluated during the project
implementation, to make sure that we achieve best result.

28
Sales strategy

Because ours is a new entity, we recognize that we will need to prove our company's worth to
Local customers, in order to earn respect and business. Most important, we need to sell our
company, not necessarily our products and services, and create positive word- of-mouth. We
will have to push our service and delivery capacities. Our sales strategy is based on the belief
that there will be a regular flow of first-time customers, due to our convenient location. The real
sales effort will be to focus on the conversion of each first- time customer into a long-term
customer relationship, where these customers come regularly to our pizzeria, and also bring or
recommend friends to share the experience of a great pizza. This focus recognizes that it would
cost our company less money to convert a new customer into a long-term relationship, than it
does to attract a new customer. With this in mind, our sales activities will concentrate on
keeping existing customers happy, and always meet or exceed their expectations. Consistent,
customer-centric service is the absolute requirement in the hospitality industry, and so it is for
all our employees. Every member of our team will be empowered to deal with our customers'
requests in such a way that no customer should leave dissatisfied. Problem solving will be
encouraged throughout the organization, and it would also be fair to say that each employee is
part of the sales staff, not only the first-line servers

Humanization is significantly increasing across the world. Many younger and older people are
increasingly adopting pets due to various benefits such as reduced stress levels, increased
physical activity, and improved social life. Also, some people adopt more than one pet. In
addition, the rise in dual-household income and growth in the purchasing power of consumers
has increased the spending on pet animals. All these factors are expected to have a positive
impact on the growth of the global smart-connected pet collars market during the forecast period.

“Rise in the aging population globally, especially in developed countries and the increase
in the number of nuclear families will lead to increased adoption of pets which in turn will
boost the demand for smart-connected pet collars during the forecast period,” says a senior
analyst at Technavio.

29
Product
This represents an item or service designed to satisfy customer needs and wants. To effectively
market a product or service, it's important to identify what differentiates it from competing
products or services. It's also important to determine if other products or services can be
marketed in conjunction with it.

 A smart connected pet collar is a device used in pet monitoring. The device is usually
connected wirelessly to a smartphone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to monitor the location and
activities of pet animals. Currently, most of the products available in the market are
designed specifically for dogs and cats. Based on the breed type, a variety of sizes are
available to suit different neck sizes of dogs and cats.

Price
The sale price of the product reflects what consumers are willing to pay for it. Marketing
professionals need to consider costs related to research and development, manufacturing,
marketing, and distribution—otherwise known as cost-based pricing. Pricing based primarily on
consumers' perceived quality or value is known as value-based pricing

Placement (location and facilities)

The type of product sold is important to consider when determining areas of distribution. Basic
consumer products, such as paper goods, often are readily available in many stores. Premium
consumer products, however, typically are available only in select stores. Another consideration
is whether to place a product in a physical store, online, or both.

Promotion
Joint marketing campaigns also are called a promotional mix. Activities might include
advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, and public relations. A key consideration should
30
be for the budget assigned to the marketing mix. Marketing professionals carefully construct a
message that often incorporates details from the other three Ps when trying to reach their target
audience. Determination of the best mediums to communicate the message and decisions about
the frequency of the communication also are important.

Some different feature in the collar for dog comfort

 Anchor Clip

34
Aptly named, this signature piece of hardware is the main anchor point between you and your
dog. With a 360-degree swivel base that prevents twisted leashes and a carabiner-inspired clasp
that shuts securely, this clip attaches easily to D-rings on your dog’s collar or harness. We used
a premium, super durable zinc-alloy that won’t corrode, which means bad weather and the
inevitable nicks & tears won’t wear down its polished looks over time.

 Bridge Clip

We like to use our signature Bridge Clip whenever we need a strong connection point between
two things, like a WILD PACK™ Base and Accessory. Featuring the same premium, super
durable and corrosion-free zinc-alloy used in our Anchor Clip, this clip is even burlier by design
to ensure a stay-put “bridge” between you and your dog. It’s typically fixed in place on our
leashes to attach WILD PACK™ Accessories, but we also use it in our running belts on a
movable strip for fuss-free, secure runs.

 Textured Webbing

Found in our Mission Wild™ leashes and collars, this durable fabric is tightly woven on a grid
for maximum durability with a soft, comfortable feel. Inspired by the areas they’re named for,
this fabric is casual and easygoing, but handles the impromptu Frisbee session with ease (and
coffee downtime afterward).

35
 Reflective Inter-Threaded Fabrics

With our urban-minded roots, reflective details play a huge part in our design process. Our
signature fabrics include reflective threads woven throughout for a pop of visibility in low-light
conditions. Plus, the textured fabric is tightly woven for durability, which means ruff & tumble
play is par for the course.

Flex Knit™ Fabric

Our signature performance fabric for our collection is made with an innovative material that
boasts 360-degree flexible stretch and a soft mesh lining for maximum ventilation. Padded and
cushy with a cool, sporty striated pattern, this fabric is fully breathable for all-day comfort—
we’d call out that it’s wicking too, but considering dogs regulate their temp by panting, it’s more
of a perk. You can find it in our Pup harnesses, with leashes, collars and accessories to match.

How it can work as for the tracking features, the smart collar for dogs can monitor and track daily
activities, including walking, running, scratching, eating, barking, and resting. it will utilizing for
four years of data collected via its existing GPS Pet Tracker platform to track the daily activities of
the dogs. Plus, it comes with a removable fabric cover to help you easily clean the device after your
dog comes back from a bathing session in a muddy pond.

Apart from tracking the health vitals of your pet, the smart collar can also track their location
using GPS. It also comes with a built-in buzzer and escape alert features and is compatible with
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and LTE-M.

However, it is worth mentioning that the smart collar will be initially available for only medium
to big-sized dogs. That is because it is currently difficult to develop a more miniaturized version
of the radar tech on which the smart collar relies. Plus, the whole system would be heavier for
smaller dogs to carry it on their necks.

38
GPS tracking

Smart collar uses three constellations of satellites to maximize the tracking speed and
accuracy of the smart Collar. GPS accuracy can get as accurate as 7ft radius in open sky.

LTE-M network

 Smart collar is the first tracking collar to use the LTE-M cellular network to
communicate GPS information.

 LTE-M is a new technology for low power, long distances communications. LTE-M
signal reaches about 30% farther than 3G/4G/5G/LTE networks.

Escape detection

 The most important factor in a dog’s recovery is the speed at which you are notified of
the escape.

Smart coller uses proprietary algorithms to detect when your dog escapes from your
backyard.

 It is the fastest, most accurate way to be notified when your dog escapes and to find your
dog after an escape.

Smart Power Management

39
 Low power WiFi integration directly into the Fi module allows you to connect to your
home WiFi network to save battery and improve accuracy.

 The Collar is ‘smart’ and will dynamically connect to Wifi Access Points or local
Bluetooth beacons, such as your phone or the Fi Charging base, to save energy and
maximize battery life.

These signals are also leveraged in our escape detection engine. Meaning that if your dog ever
gets out, the Collar will use all network signals to provide the fastest and most reliable
notification of their escape.

New innovation : I am blown away by sleep tracking. I did not realize how much my dogs
were waking up during the night!”

is your dog sometimes short of breath? Occasionally coughing? No need to panic! This new
connected collar monitors your dog’s respiratory and cardiac rates and warns you in case of any
irregular reading. The goal is to prevent a possible disease before the appearance of new
symptoms.

The Smart Dog Collar provides owners with a host of data, starting with the pet’s breathing and
heart rates, both at rest and while active, accessible at any time on the related mobile app. It also
calculates the pet’s daily walking and running time and compiles other statistics like the number
of scratches or barks to create an overall picture of their health. All this data can of course be
shared with a veterinarian.

This product is mainly intended for medium to large dogs, regardless of the thickness of their fur.
Finally, this collar allows for precise GPS tracking of the animal, so that it is always possible to
find them in case they run away or are stolen.
41
Design

The collar comes in four color options: blue, gray, pink ombre, or yellow, and is interchangeable,
so you can easily swap it out for a new one if it gets dirty or your dog grows out of it. offers a
range of compatible accessory bands, sold separately.

Meant for dogs weighing 10 pounds or more (so no cats or tiny pups), the collar comes in four
sizes: small (for necks measuring 11.5 to 13.5 inches in circumference), medium (13 to
16.5 inches), large (16 to 22.5 inches), and extra large (22 to 34.5 inches). It measures around
one inch wide, regardless of which size you choose. To easily figure out your dog's size, you can
lay their existing collar flat and measure it in inches. In terms of design, not much has changed
from the original model.

Measuring 1.4 by 2.6 by 0.7 inches (HWD), the actual tracker is about the size of a matchbox
and thin enough not to bother my pooch. Unlike some standalone trackers that attach to your
dog's existing collar with velcro strips, the is securely fastened to the collar with metal clips, so
you won't have to worry about it falling off.

New innovation

“I am blown away by app sleep tracking. I did not realize how much my dogs were waking up
during the night!”

Monitor your dog’s sleep from anywhere, anytime.

See and understand your dog’s rest patterns in detail. Monitor their time spent napping &
sleeping, nighttime interruptions, and overall restfulness.

Just like humans, sleep is very important to your dog’s health.

Sleep patterns are a strong indicator of your dog’s overall health. If they change, it could
signify a new health issue and App will alert43
you of this.
“Sleep is incredibly important for dogs and an early indicator of issues, such as if your dog is
getting up throughout the night to drink more. Owners can’t notice because they’re asleep, but
now APP can ring the alarm bell should the need arise.”

Sleep and fitness tracking, all in one.

Through a world-class combination of hardware and software, the Fi collar monitors your dog’s
behavior during their downtime, and displays easily digestible data-based visualizations and
insights.

Another new innovation:

2020 has made us all understand the importance of monitoring our health and staying fit, but
what about humanity’s best friend – dogs? Many of us struggle with understanding the health of
our doggo friends, and this smart dog collar tries to address this issue to an extent.

This gadget could be helpful for those pet lovers who want to track the health of their dogs,
which will help them address any issue in advance. While it is unknown how effective this
product is, the company claims that this Smart Dog Collar can monitor vitals like resting
respiratory and heart rate. The company says it has worked with certified veterinary cardiologists
to develop deep learning AI that leverages radar sensors to take readings from the neck of
your canine friend.

While pet tracking is not new, the key selling point of Invoxia's Smart Dog Collar is that it can
also track health. With this smart collar, users will be able to monitor their dog’s daily activity
and get details on when the dog is walking, running, scratching, eating or drinking, barking, and
resting, as per a report by The Verge.

Setting Up the Collar

To set up the download the app (available for Android and iOS), accept the Bluetooth pairing
request, and create an account if you don't already have one.

Next, the app will ask you to create a profile for your pooch, including their name, gender,
48
whether they are purebred or mixed, their breed (or dominant breed if they're a mutt), birthday
(or adoption date), and weight. APP gives you the option to add a photo of your dog from your
phone's camera, gallery, or Instagram. If you link an Instagram account, the handle will be
visible to other users. Bradley has his own Instagram, so I linked it to his APP profile.

49
My one small gripe about the profile-creation process is that the app doesn't differentiate
between birthday and adoption date, though it says to input the latter if you don't know the
former. I don't know Bradley's actual birthday because he was a stray, but I adopted him on
September 24, 2019, so I entered that date when setting up his account. Now on his profile, it
says Bradley is one year old, because the app is using his adoption date as his birthday. In reality,
according to his vet, he was around 1.5 years old when I adopted him, which makes him about
3.5 years old now. To fix the age on his profile, I'd have to make up a birthday around when I
think he might have been born. I wish there was an option to just specify your dog's approximate
age, which would be a lot easier.

The comes with a small charging base, which the company says to set up near where your dog
spends most of its time. As mentioned, the Fi base helps extend the collar's battery life, but it
needs to be plugged in all the time. Once the base is activated, you'll see a green check mark in
the app. It then walks you through the Wi-Fi setup process so you can connect the charging base
to your home network.

Next, the app asks for permission to use your phone's location data, and has you create a
Safe Zone where your dog is allowed to roam freely. The Safe Zone is depicted on an integrated
Google Map as a blue circle (the only shape currently available). You can pinch- zoom in or out
to increase or decrease the Zone's area, though it must have a minimum radius of 60 feet. The
goal of the Safe Zone is for Fi to notify you as soon as your dog exits the area without you.

Strengths
53
The strengths of your particular business will be specific to you depending on your brand,
location, local market size etc. It’s important to think about your brand and what business
strengths you have. Here are some examples of strengths that may apply to your brand.

 Lack of competition- If you live in an area where there are very few or no dog grooming
services available, there will be very little competition. This means you have a large share
of the market and an increased number of potential customers.
 Experience- A lot of experience in dog grooming will mean that you already have a high
level of skill and can offer better service than competitors. Also, if you have skilled staff
it will reduce training time and increase customer satisfaction.
 Low costs- Depending on your business model, you can keep your start-up costs to a
minimum. Mobile groomers will have little equipment to buy and won’t have to pay for
rent for a shop.
 Passion- Your passion for your work and love for dogs will help improve customer
experience and increase positive feedback, which is very effective publicity.

Weaknesses

No business model or brand is completely perfect but by identifying weaknesses in your

company, you can try to work on things and improve your quality of service.

 Lack of brand recognition- It’s hard for any new business to make a name for itself,
especially if the market is full of established brands. Advertising and clever marketing
can help improve brand recognition.
 Low budget- Initial start-up costs can be very expensive for a new company, especially if
you’re opening a shop. You can look into things like business loans to help get your
brand up and running.
 Lack of business experience- When you enter a new market it will take time to find your
feet as a business owner. Having a passion for dog grooming is essentially but you will
also need to learn what it takes to be a good business person.
 No business links- Having strong links with suppliers and business associates is essential
for growing your business. You will most likely have no links when you start out and it
54
will take time to build them up.

Opportunities

 Technological Advancements
 Rising demand from emerging economics such as China, India, Brazil, among others
 Growth Opportunities in Untapped Market

55
Once you get your business off the ground and you show people how great you are with their
furry friends, there are a lot of opportunities which you can take advantage of, even at the early
stages of development.

 Profit- Your passion for dogs will come first but the opportunity to eventually make
profit is a great incentive. Once your company becomes profitable there are many other
opportunities that come with it.
 Expansion- After getting a foothold in the market and increasing your customer base you
will have the opportunity to expand by opening new locations or increasing your staff
roster.
 Franchising- If you build up a strong enough brand and you developed a wide
customer base you may consider franchising and giving other passionate dog
groomers the opportunity to grow under your brand.

Threats

You can’t always predict the future but it’s important to consider any potential scenarios so you
can be prepared for the worst. These examples of threats will hopefully get you thinking about
the kinds of things you’ll need to be ready for.

 Competition- Competition is one of the biggest threats to any new business venture. If the
local dog grooming market is already highly saturated you may struggle to establish your
brand initially.
 Increased costs- There is always a chance that business and material costs will increase.
Utility prices could increase over time and if you lease your building then the rent price
may be liable to change.
 Issues with the economy- Just like any other business, your dog grooming company can
be effected by downturns in the economy. If local customers experience household
budget cuts you may see a reduction in demand.

56
Limitation of smart collar
Thyroid Damage
Dog breeds that pull on their leashes a lot tend to have a lot of thyroid issues. Many
veterinarians speculate that thyroid problems happen when a leash pushes on your dog’s
thyroid regularly; this consistent trauma can eventually lead to inflammation and
bruising.

 When your dog’s thyroid gets inflamed, its immune system sends white blood cells to the
area to remove the inflammation. The white blood cells do get rid of the inflammation,
but they eventually start to wear down the thyroid. Over a long period of time, this leads
to a lot of thyroid issues.

Ear And Eye Damage

When a dog pulls on its leash, it restricts blood flow to its eyes and ears. When blood
flow is cut off on a regular basis, it causes swelling, and constant swelling damages your
dogs organs and appendages.

Paw Licking

 Dog collars can damage the nerves in your dog’s front legs. When your dog’s nerves are
hurt, it causes a tingly feeling in their front paws, and most dogs will lick their paws to
try to make them feel better. If your dog has a problem with paw licking, you might
want to consider using a harness instead of a collar.

Neck injury

 Yanking on a leash can give your dog whiplash; it’s never a good idea to jerk any type of
animal’s neck quickly. Oftentimes, dogs don’t understand why their leash jerks their
neck, so they become frustrated, depressed or aggressive.
 The best way to prevent neck, nerve and thyroid damage is to get your dog a harness.
57
When your dog pulls on a harness, it doesn’t hurt its body as much as a collar does.

58
Conclusion:-

Smart collar is in a nascent stage as a concept, it is now required to create such intelligent
tracking devices to keep the depleting fauna
in check as well as help enthusiasts monitor and study animal behavior at its best without
bothering to interfere with the animal or try
to hide in its habitat which not only hinders animal activity and also endanger the life of the
observer.
The Smart Dog Collar is a high quality dog tracker with great reviews, especially for its new
Series 2 version.

Some of its key features include GPS tracking, lost dog mode, a geofence perimeter, a dog
walker monitor, fitness tracking, and access to the community.
