and community is a must. As a second parent of our learner we must be concerned of their safety.
3. their safety. The grade 8 and grade 9 teachers were fortunate enough to have a learning action cell
on this matter. We teachers, should be well equipped in dealing with students having violence
issues or have experienced such, according to Mrs. Nenita Aboniawan the speaker of LAC.
4. Dealing with students having this concerns is very crucial and vital because it affects their whole
personality as a learner, a citizen and an individual.
5. . Mr. Vevencio Aboniawan shared some of the incidents he encountered involving his students
and he also shares the ways and means he did to solve the situation encountered. Along the
discussion, the teachers acquired knowledge on how to deal students with such issues.
6. As a teacher or adviser, the very best way to help students with these problems is to refer them to
the right authorities such as our school guidance counselor or DSWD personnel. Furthermore, it is
important to keep in mind that issues like this should always be held confidential and with
sensitivity. Mr. Roger Hoylar shares that almost of our drop out students were due to child labor.
7. Based on the sharing of experiences in handling diverse students it was found out that most of
dropped students were due to child labor, and this event rooted in the economic situation of the
family.
8. the PNHS as an institution advocating the wellness of its students have created different programs
to give aid to students experiencing these problems.
9. Problems and issues like this are present in every institution but we could make a difference by
giving the right solutions to our learners. Treating them right and ensuring their safety inside the
school should be everybody’s concern, not only by the principal and the guidance counselor.
10. We should be vigilant in observing our learners and at the same time we should be compassionate
enough to our students regardless of their capability, gender, affinity and beliefs.
