 Dear students and parents
It’s summertime when faces light up with a grin
As holidays are about to begin
It’s time for the children to play and enjoy
Free, unbound, high-spirited but safe at home.

Summer break is a vacation time students

eagerly await for. So, now is the time to unlock
the days creatively making the most while at
home. So, adopt a herb, a house plant or a flower,
bake a cake, sing-along, paint and draw and
compose your own song or take up your hobby as
the school announces the summer vacation.

To ensure that the children have a constructive

holiday, some holidays’ homework & projects
have been given which will keep the child active
and observant. These projects can easily be done
by the children and you could assist only where
required. You can download the Holidays’
Homework from the school website for your
convenience and in case of any clarification, you
may contact the teacher concerned as it shall be a
part of the internal assessment.

English:

On an A4 size sheet, write a conversation between the planet Earth and the
animals talking about the pollution that is damaging the environment. Make
dialogues interesting and humorous. You can draw, cut or paste pictures to
make it look beautiful .

2. Observe the following picture and write a paragraph about it .

3.Write 20 pages of cursive writing in a separate thin notebook.

4.Make a comic strip on “climate change”. Make it interesting by adding fun
elements to it . Draw pictures neatly.(To be done on A4 size sheet)
5.Revise all the topics done in the class

b) Grammar- Punctuation, Reordering of sentences , Subject and predicate,

❖ Gather the data for the height of five mountains (in centimetres).
a) Represent the data in a table and paste the
pictures of the mountains
b) Place these numbers in Indian and International
Place Value Chart and write their number names
following both number system.
c) Arrange them in ascending order.

The air quality index (AQI) is an index for reporting air quality on a daily basis.
The higher the AQI value,the greater the level of air pollution and the greater
the health concerns.
Find out the AQI in your area for five days, write the name of your city with its
AQI category given below. Also write about its specific health concerns and
ways to improve the air quality.
Air Quality Index Categories: Good: 0–50 Satisfactory: 51–100 Moderately
polluted: 101–200 Poor: 201–300 Very Poor: 301–400 Severe: 401-500

On an A-4 size sheet make a poster with slogan on ‘SAVE WATER’

3: Lets follow the 4Rs- Effective methods of waste control

Follow the 4Rs to keep our environment clean and green.

Give examples with pictures under each R.
