1. Look up the following words in the dictionary and
a. Write down the definitions in Spanish.

b. Write a good sentence in English using the word.

2. True or False? If the sentence is true, copy it in your notebook as it is. If the sentence
is wrong, correct it and write only the correct sentence in your notebook.
a. Jo said Sophie was stealing things.
b. ‘We have to catch the thief - and we need proof.’ Ananda said.
c. ‘Why don’t we leave a backpack in the classroom at break tomorrow?’
d. Sophie’s dad bought her mom a special key ring that bleeps when you whistle.
e. The SHoCK Team whistled and followed Mr. Kingsley and the bleeps got louder and
louder.

Main Course (Everybody eats the main course)

Put these sentences in the right order and write them in your notebook.

a. So then Jo started to whistle and walked towards Lesley. There were


no bleeps.
b. The purse disappeared at break.
c. They tried again at lunch break and the bleeps started when they
followed Mr. Smith.
d. So they set a trap to catch the thief.
e. Before Lesley came to Cotham School nothing disappeared. Jo thought Lesley was
the thief.
f. Then Mr. Smith explained: ‘The cleaners found this mobile and I found this purse.’ He
gave them to Mr. Kingsley.
g. At the end Jo had to say sorry to Lesley.
h. The SHoCK Team wanted to find out who was stealing things.
i. Mr. Kingsley and Mr. Smith said the SHoCK Team should look after their things better.
j. At break they left a purse with Sophie’s mum’s key ring on a desk.
