TOPIC: MULTI-YEAR GUIDELINES ON THE RESULTS-BASED
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM-PHILIPPINE PROFESSIONAL
STANDARDS FOR TEACHERS

OBJECTIVE: To emphasize the importance of the Result-Based


Performance Management System-Philippine Professional Standards
for Teachers and in raising the quality of education in the school
SUMMARY OF THE TOPIC:
The Multi-year guidelines on the Result-Based Performance
Management System-Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers
will serve as a guide of the Head Teacher, Master Teacher, and
Teachers to ensure that the measures of the teacher performance
throughout the next three school years are appropriate, adaptive and
relevant to capture teacher’s actual performance.
Being a teacher in the 21st century is a big challenge for us on how
to manage and perform quality education among the learners, thus the
school conducted a School Learning Action Cell to address the needs
of teachers. This SLAC will help the teachers to discover and apply
different strategies to achieve the Department of Education mission
and vision.
REFLECTION:
This SLAC made me realized that the journey of a teacher starts
with understanding the different processes, planning, and working
multiple strategies to manage a class.
The need to understand the content of the lesson and its delivery

will greatly affect the performance of the pupils and their outcomes. To
improve the pupils’ outcomes, instructional prowess should be applied.
I was also enlightened on the different strategies to be applied to
augment the literacy and numeracy skills of the learners.
Knowing how to design, select and use different assessment
strategies is a great help in designing, organizing and using
appropriate learning resources to improve learners’ performance.
OBSERVATION NOTES TO THE PRESENTOR:
They presented well and mastered the topics assigned to them.
They encouraged the participants to share their insights in an open
forum.
Next Course of Action:
I will apply this innovation for me to help my learners.
