B. How to update Anti-Virus Pattern


1. Make sure connected to Office LAN or VPN (if you are work from home)
2. Go to the “Task Bar” bottom right
3. Click on the arrow up
4. Right click the Trend Micro Anti-Virus Icon

5. Click Update

6. Wait for the update to be complete

7. Click “Close”
8. Click Arrow up again
9. Right Click “Trend Micro Anti-Virus Icon”
10. Click on “Component Versions”
11. Check the “Virus Pattern” and Last Update Date (it should be the same date as you update)

12. Click “Close”

C. How to enable/disable Proxy Server


1. Open “Google Chrome”

2. Click on the “3 dots” icon

3. Click on the “Setting” from drop down menu

4. Key in “proxy” in the setting search bar

5. Click on the icon of “Open your computer’s proxy settings”


6. Scroll down until you see the “Proxy”
7. Click to switch the Proxy On or Off

P/S: If the Proxy is Off the Address, Port will be in disable mode

8. The following print screen showing that the Proxy is “ON”

9. Kindly key in and update the proxy info as above if the Proxy Server info is empty

10. Remember to click “SAVE” after switch “ON” the proxy

D. Copy achieves Email PST files


(P/S: This only can be done in Office)

1. Open Microsoft Outlook and click “File” the source computer (e.g. Desktop)

2. Click “Account Settings” under Info tab

3. Click “Account Setting”

4. Click to “Data Files” Tab Menu


5. Select the “Archive” file that you wish to copy
6. Click “Open Files Location”

7. Copy the PST file (Outlook Data File) to “Share Folder” (e.g. your own department share folder)

8. Make sure all the PST Email files (Outlook Data File) had been copied into Share Folder
(e.g. your own department share folder)

9. Open the “Share Folder” from your Laptop (This is another computer)
10. Copy all the PST Email files (Outlook Data File) into your Laptop (e.g. D:\outlook)
(Please create new folder D:\outlook if it is not existing)
11. Open the Microsoft Outlook from your Laptop
12. Click “file”

13. Click “Account Settings” under Info tab

14. Click “Account Setting”

15. Click “Data Files” Tab Menu

16. Click “Add”

17. Go to the Folder where you copied and paste the PST files (e.g. D:\outlook)
18. Select the PST files that you wish to add
19. Click “OK”

20. Repeat step adding PST files if you have more than 1 PST files
21. Please close the “Account Setting” once all PST files had been added

22. Go into Microsoft Outlook now the Archive files should be attached in your laptop Microsoft
Outlook

2. Unable to connection to VPN


- Please make sure you are connected to the Internet
(Please test any website for check the connectivity)
- Please make sure key in the correct password & passcode
