Dear Sir
We take pride in introducing ourselves as a non-political, non-beneficial, social & international youth organization
with individuals of a dynamic age group from 18 to 35. Rotaract Club of Thane North is one of the most
established clubs, functioning since past 42 years. We are a community-based club focused mainly on vocational
development of the individuals, service - oriented projects like Blood & Cloth donation drive, various other
awareness campaigns & initiatives for social cause with other NGOs.

Rotaract Club of Thane North has a glorious tradition of organizing projects spotting the budding talent among
the young individuals and encourage them through various opportunities. With the same exuberance and gusto, it
gives us immense pleasure in inviting your students for our upcoming initiative “HOONER 2K22 - Thane
Interschool Arts Competition”, which aims at unveiling and recognizing the taste for art in them. This year, we’d
be upgrading the event as there would be 4 competitions: Drawing, Essay Writing, Hand Writing and Clay
Modelling Competitions.

This would be a great platform for the students to participate in and showcase their creativity and bring out the
best in them.

We’re looking forward for an amazing response from your esteemed institution.

Group D Drawing (D1), Essay Writing (D2) & Handwriting (D3)
Note: For Essay Writing, we would have 2 categories (mode of language): English and Regional
language (Hindi/Marathi) and selection of the best essays would be distinguished based on these 2
categories ONLY.
Individual Participation:
An individual can participate in more than one competition according to their respective groups.
Prize Distribution:
Prize distribution would be done based on different groups for respective events as 1 st, 2nd and 3rd Prize.

Participating Schools will be given the Hooner Award under the following categories:
• Hooner Award for the Highest Contingent (highest no. of participation and attendance on the day of
event).
• Hooner Award for the Best School (most no. of winners hailing from the respective schools).
• 2nd Runner Up for Hooner Award for the Best School.

Pointing System for Hooner Award

10 Points Each Participant
300 points 1st Prize (in any event)
200 points 2nd Prize (in any event)
100 points 3rd Prize (in any event)
Rules and Regulations

• Last date for registration will be Monday, 25th July 2022.

• Registration Fees will be Rs. 50/-per event.
• Entries ONCE registered, cannot be cancelled and there will be no refund of registration fee.
• Students will be provided only with A4 sheet for drawing. Other drawing material like colors,
brush, pen, pencil, etc. should be brought by the participants themselves.
a) Types of colors that can be used - water colors/ poster colors/ crayons.
b) Topics for the essay and drawing will be provided on the spot.
• Participant is expected to write his/her contact number behind the drawing sheet before
submitting it to the volunteer.
• All the entries will be the property of the Rotaract Club of Thane North.
• Trophies will be awarded to only First place winners in each category.
• Participation certificates will also be awarded to each registered candidate.
• Consolation prizes will be awarded as per the discretion of the judges.
• Decision of judges will be FINAL & BINDING on all the participants.
• Participants report on venue 45 to 30 minutes before as per schedule given below.
