Dear Principals,
We would like to invite your students to our Science Fair which is to be held on
12th November, 2022 in our school premises.
Time Line : 8 : 00 am to 8 : 30 am – Allotment of seats
8 : 30 am to 9 : 30 am – Preparation Time for exhibits
9 : 30 am to 2 : 00 pm – Exhibition Time
The objectives of this exhibition are:
● To popularize Science and promote interest in Science and Technology among
the younger generation.
● To develop skills such as scientific temperament, public speaking, teamwork,
planning, goal setting etc.
● To provide opportunity to students to show their creativity.
Students of class 7th, 8th and 9th are eligible to take part in this exhibition.
There are three categories:
a)Static model
b)Working model
c) Activities
● Category (a), (b) will be the part of competition whereas category (c) will
be only to develop scientific aptitude among students.
● Maximum 5 entries are allowed. Details of the entries are as follows:

* The school which registers for this event shall send one static and
one working model, though it is not mandatory to take part in activities.

It is important that students must understand that winning the

competition is not the goal of this event. It is the process that students
go through (for example: research, gaining knowledge, presentation etc.)
is more beneficial. The learning process and the knowledge gained from it
is a reward in itself.

 ● Every participant will be awarded with a participation certificate.
● In each category 1st, 2nd prize will be awarded.
● Appreciation certificates will be awarded to the best activities.
● Students will not put on their school uniform and I-card.
● One teacher will accompany the participants.
● 30 Students from each school may come to witness this event along with two
teachers. There are four time slots, one hour each.
