somebody, and an elegant curtain.

Lead in:

Sau khi học Vocab mình sẽ dẫn dắt (lead in) vào phần dạy
chính bằng câu hỏi (Prompt Qs) hoặc hình ảnh gì đó cho các
bạn nha. Ví dụ:

thường ở đây khi mình dạy This/ That/ These/ Those rồi. Các
bạn đã được học về Unc N và cnt N, vậy nên mình có thể
lead in bằng cách cho các bạn nhìn hình ảnh, nói thử xem ở
đó có bao nhiêu trái táo, bao nhiêu cây bút bi.

students to work in pairs to do this activity. Invite them to
read out loud sentences.

B: Yes, those are my ottoman chair.

Introduce main structure:

We use This when the object is near you, and we use That
when the object is far from you.

This and That

Look and say:

- Showing sentences that using this and that.

Ex1: A: Is this your desk lamp?

B: Yes, that is my desk lamp.

We use These when many objects are near you, and we use
Those when many objects are far from you.
These and Those

- Showing sentences that using these and those.

Ex2: A: Are these your ottoman chair?

B: Yes, those are my ottoman chair.

PRACTICE

Activity 1:

1/ Look at the screen. Then complete the questions with this,


that, these, and those and write the missing words in your paper.

Instruction:

- Show pictures and questions on the screen


- Take paper and pen. Students have 1 minute for this
activity.
- Work in pairs.

- Will you look at the pictures and questions and discuss with
your friend?
- Will you do this activity by yourself or work in pairs?

thành một activity khác, như vậy hoạt động sẽ có tính thống nhất
hơn) Chú ý mọi hoạt động mình thiết kế đều hướng về đạt được
learning outcome (ví dụ outcome buổi này các bạn đặt được câu
hỏi, thì các hoạt động chỉ nên xoay quanh việc giúp các bạn đặt
được câu hỏi nhé)

Instructions:

- Invite students to sit in the semi-circle


- Look at the pictures on the screen
- Press the bell immediately when you have the answers.
- Say out loud the sentences

answers?
- Will you write down the sentences or say them out loud.
