II. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This Action plan is entitled and named as “Prohibition of Alcohols and Cigarettes for the

Youth”.

This Action plan will be conducted at Barangay Apiat, Aurora, Isabela. The target

participants will be the teenagers or the youth of the Barangay. We’ll be having a Friendly Sport-

competition among the teenagers of the barangay. Before conducting the friendly-game, will

start with a symposium lecturing about the effects of smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol

towards the health of the teenagers.

Barangay officials and the SK members will be gathered and will serve as the

coordinators of this action plan. Php. 25,000 is the estimated cost of this project inclusive with

food, output and resources that will be needed in conducting the action plan such as snacks, sport

materials and etc.

The main goal and the purpose of this action plan is to put awareness among teenagers

about the bad effects of drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes and to encourage them to be an

active member of the barangay that will serve as a role model and a great influence to other

minors. And to develop a more organized and peaceful barangay and active participating minors

or teenagers. With this, there will be no more teenagers who will drink alcohol and smoke

cigarettes.

“Prohibition of Alcohols and Cigarettes for the Youth” will be conducted at San Juan,

Aurora, Isabela.

Demographic Analysis:

According to the 2018 Census, the age group with the highest population in San Juan is 5 to 9

with 164 individuals. Conversely, the age group with the lowest population is 80 and 11

individuals.

V. INTRODUCTION

To develop a community, gain as much progress as possible is important. It is a vital

aspect of a society to shape and mold every individual in a community.

As we try to understand our society nowadays, there are a lot of things that are not yet

addressed. Society’s lacking on support among teenagers. At San Juan, Aurora, Isabela, lots of

teenagers are smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohols due to lack of support and attention.

These were the out of school youth. To address this, our campaign made a program called

“Prohibition of Alcohols and Cigarettes for the Youth” ushered by the Barangay officials and SK

reform.

In this action plan, the Barangay officials, the Barangay SK members, Barangay health

officers and RUH members. Their knowledge and authority will be needed and will be a great

help in lecturing the participants, they will serve as the coordinators.
