Arms Act

Hello,

Amazon seller performance team,

Thank you for providing me the opportunity to submit appeal for reactivation of our seller account.
Please find our Plan of Action below for resolving restricted product policy violations in Arms act.

– A DETAILED EXPLANATION OF THE ROOT CAUSE(S) OF THE VIOLATIONS:

We are writing to you this plan of action to reactivate our seller account. We
have received a notification on 17 July 2021 and according to that notification
some of our listings are being addressed in criteria of prohibited product
violations due to a listing of a toy as gun torch. As a result, our Amazon
selling account has been temporarily deactivated.

I am sharing the following ASIN’s which are being detected as Arms in product
compliance.

ASIN: B0991TJJK5
Title: New Self Defence Women Safety 2-in-1 Taser/Baton (Stun Gun + Led
Flashlight) 9W Flashlight Torch

Amazon removed our listing due to prohibited product policy violation.

CLARIFICATION OF THE ERROR AMAZON DEACTIVATED OUR ACCOUNT:

We accept that we have listed products which looks like a weapon but in reality these are just show
pieces as toys.

The product “New Self Defence Women Safety 2-in-1 Taser/Baton (Stun Gun + Led Flashlight) 9W
Flashlight Torch” is not a weapon a all. In reality it is a torch only.

According to the shape it is a gun but in use it’s just a torch for safety in dark for women use.

ACTIONS WE HAVE TAKEN TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE-

prohibited product policies regarding “arms Act” and We got to know that
Amazon prohibits the listing or sale of all firearms, including assault
weapons, assault rifles, black powder guns, breech-loading rifles, handguns,
revolvers, pistols, muzzle, loaders, shotguns, zip guns, Desi Katta (also
referred as Tamanchas) and starter guns.

2. Removed Prohibited Products from category: We have already removed these

ASIN’s from our inventory which listings are violating the Amazon restricted
product policies. We have already reviewed the relevant help pages which are
relevant to counterfeit products on Amazon.in on seller central.

3. SOLD OUR REMAINING STOCK: We have sold offline our all remaining goods of
all products which were violating the Indian laws and regulations and Amazon
policies as well.

4. WE REVIEWED GOVT. LAWS & POLICIES FOR PROHIBITED CATEGORIES: We also

reviewed all Laws, regulations and policies which are subject to change. We
have audited our inventory for compliance to resolve this issue.
