Warm up activity:
Guess things about YOU
To start the lesson, the teacher will ask
the student to tell something about
him/herself. To encourage the student to
speak more, use ‘Wh-questions’ and
‘Yes/No questions’, the teacher will ask
the student follow-up questions about
his/her favorite things - the things that
he/she likes or doesn’t like; family,
friends, and school life or work life. The
teacher should guide and correct the
sentences of the student if needed.
Let’s Checked Activity:
Learners will fill in the correct
information based on the warm up
activity and see if they can answer them.

The teacher will ask the student to write
his/her personal information on the “ALL
ABOUT ME” worksheet in narrative
format.
Writing Activity: the teacher will tell the
student to write the information in
paragraph form. The student will pretend
that he/she is writing a self introduction
letter to a new friend from a foreign
country. The student should also
introduce his/her family in the letter.
Lastly, the student will ask the foreign
friend’s personal information.
Why is self-introduction important?
Poem Writing Activity: Write a short
poem about yourself with the title “Hello,
It’s Me”, with at least seven lines or more.
After writing, ask the student to read the
poem out loud to check his/her
pronunciation.
