Objectives:
1.The students will be able to know Indonesia celebrates the Independence Day on 17 August.
2. The students will be able to sing Indonesia Raya and Hari Merdeka.
3. The students will be able to recite Pancasila (especially for K2 students).

ACTIVITIES:
1. Decorations
School hall and front office will be decorated with heart flags of Indonesia and map of
Indonesia. These decorations are also visual aids for teachers to explain to all students
that we love Indonesia. Flags: Red means brave, white means pure.

2. Students’ Activities:

Students will sing Indonesia Raya and Hari Merdeka after doing morning assembly at the
hall.

2.1 Toddler Craft [Making Indonesian Hat]

 Materials : red asturo paper, big pompom and white paint.
Steps:
1. Students will arrange the red asturo paper with cone shape..
2. Students will use the pom – pom to decorate the hat with white colour.

It will be white colour and use the

pom – pom to make the white spot

2.2 Nursery Craft [Handprint and finger print craft]

 Materials : white bufallo, red paint, green asturo, red ribbon and glue.
Steps:

 1. Teachers already cut white buffalo into oval shapes.
2. Students will paint the right palm with red paint and do the hand print as the
flower.
3. Students will use the pointer finger to do the finger print around the oval shape’s
paper.
4. After it dried well, students will paste the stem and the leave under the handprint.
5. Teachers will help to the ribbon as the hanger.

2.3 K1 Craft [Red and White Lantern]

 Materials: Buffalo paper (red and white), glue, scissors, red wool, red crayon,
black crayon, hairbands and small ribbon (red and white).
Steps:
1.Teachers already cut the buffalo paper into the circle shape.
2.Students will fold the asturo paper given by teacher.
3.Students will paste the red paper into the white paper.
4.Students will arrange those papers until like a lantern.

 2.4 K2 Craft [Red and white Doll)
 Materials: Big red origami paper, A4 white, glue, and face pattern.
Steps:
1. Teachers already prepare face pattern.
2. Students will fold each origami paper and paste it.
3. Students will paste the face pattern on top of the body’s doll paper.
4. The last part, students will cut out the plastic ribbon and paste it under the
badge.

3. Games:
1. Pre-Nursery Games: Throw the Pompom into the basin
 Materials : 3 basins, red-white pompom.
 How to play: Each student has to move the red and white pompom and throw
the pompom into the basin according to the colour.

2. Nursery Games: Dancing Balloon

 Materials: ballon, Indonesian flag, and bottle.
 How to play:
 Each student has to get partner and hold the balloon between their head or
tummy.
 One of them should bring the flag.
 They have to move/ dance from start to finish line while holding the
balloon.
 For those who arrive at the finish line first should put the flag inside the
bottle.

 3. Kindergarten 1 Games: Ping-pong Ball Racing
 Materials: pingpong ball, 2 spoons, and ribbon/ rafia.
 How to play: It will be having 2 players. Teachers as the player 1 and students as the
player 2. Teacher will put the pingpong ball into the spoon and their will be 2
students who ready to play after that they will follow the zig-zag line and run as fast
as they can without drop the pingpong ball.The fastest one will be the winner.

4. Kindergaten 2 Games: Estafet Ball

 Materials: Plastic ball, big basin/ basket.
 How to play: It will be having 2 teams. The students will be divided into team A and
B. Those teams will race each other. The students who sit in front will give the ball
to his friend who sits behind him and so on. The last student will throw the ball
inside the basin.

4. Attire:
 Students are compulsory to wear hero’s costume.

 Staffs and teachers are compulsory to wear army shirt.
