1. This assignment/ project aims to fulfil CLO 1: Explain relevant terminologies and the
variants of language among diverse social groups.

2. The marks allocated for this assignment is 20% for the group presentation.

3. You are required to:

a. work in a group of five/six and choose one of the topics provided by the lecturer
b. do consultations with the lecturer prior to the presentation
c. prepare interesting posters,slides, videos, graphics or pictures as presentation aids
d. present the topic chosen within 30 to 40 minutes with Q&A session with
classmates
e. prepare exercise on the topic presented

4. Save your file with the group name, Section No, the name of the assessment and the
subject code as the file’s name. (Example of the file’s name: Code Mixing Group Sec1
Topical Presentation LNG3183)

5. You must submit your presentation slides through Google Classroom at least a day
before the presentation day.
