TITLE:​
Installing the Wire Gutter

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE:

Given the needed tools and materials, you should be able to install the wire gutter based
on the layout plan and in compliance with the PEC requirements.

SUPPLIES/ MATERIALS:
Wire gutter, wood screws

EQUIPMENT:
Power drill, screwdriver, level bar, pull-push rule

STEPS/ PROCEDURE:

1. Refer to the layout plan for the required measurements. Mark and layout the height
dimension of the wire gutter using horizontal lines. Extend the horizontal line using a
spirit level.
2. Make a vertical line to get the exact location of the wire gutter. Extend the marking
again. Make sure to use a level bar so that the alignment is straight. The marking
indicates the location of the wire gutter.
3. Mark all mounting holes provided in the wire gutter on the wiring board.
4. Fix the wire gutter with two wood screws. Doing so ensures that the alignment is
straight or level.
5. Check the vertical and horizontal alignment. Then fix the wire gutter with the remaining
screw.
