BRIGADA ESKWELA
NARRATIVE REPORT
S.Y. 2023-2024

7 - BEJERANO & 9 - ENRIQUEZ

In lieu of this year’s Brigada Eskwela, the Tictapul National High School conducted the Brigada
Eskwela kick-off last August 14, 2023 with the theme, “Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan,” which
ended on August 18, 2023.
With a mix of determination and enthusiasm, volunteers, including parents and students,
continued to contribute to our cause. The downpour of rain witnessed us rejuvenating classroom walls
and ensuring pristine comfort rooms. Learners showcased their sense of responsibility as they assisted
in these efforts. The unity was palpable as we worked together to create a clean and pleasant learning
environment. Every volunteer's presence was acknowledged and recorded, underscoring their
significant contributions.
The teamwork was inspiring as we assessed classrooms for unnecessary decorations and
posters. Oversized signage with commercial content were taken down, aligning with the guidelines.
Volunteers such as the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), DepEd and Local Barangay Officials, and
parents and students of grade 7- Bejerano and grade 9 – Enriquez demonstrated their dedication as
they meticulously removed distractions from classroom walls. We ensured clean schools by clearing
classrooms of unnecessary materials, decorations, and signage per the guidelines. As we wrapped up
the day, we acknowledged and thanked each participant, recognizing their pivotal role in the process.
But the whole Brigada Eskwela would not be completely successful if it were not for the faculty
and staff's unending love for the school community and especially for the pupils’ sake. Of all the efforts
exerted by the community, teachers deliver more of it. They also had to go through painting, repairing,
gardening, cleaning, and beautifying their respective classrooms. Thus, of all the tiring days during
Brigada Eskwela, it was all worth the sweaty efforts. It was truly a success and all worth it. The school
is now ready for the opening of classes. Indeed, it is literally true that we can succeed best and
quickest by helping others to succeed.
