Install and Open modaris Software

Tap on “File” option and click on “new”

Give a title and click on “lock”


Set File “Access Paths” by tap on “File” bar

Click on “Access Paths” and Insert Exact File destination


and Click on “OK” Button
Tap on “sheet” and click on “new sheet”

Tap on Display and “Sizes” and “Title blocks”


Make a Documet file and write “alpha” and Insert All size and
highlight expected size like “*L”

Go to “F7” select “Imp.Evt” and click on this “new sheet”


and open document/ notepad file
Size level is created

Basic T-Shirt Drafting (Part-01)

Select “F2” From modaris

Then select “Rectangle”


Click mouse’s “left button” on new sheet

Select “down Arrow” for entering full length and half chest
measurement
Press “Enter” button.

Basic T-Shirt Drafting

Click mouse’s “left button” on new sheet


Select “down Arrow” for entering sleeve length and Bicep
measurement

Press “Enter” button


Basic T-shirt Drafting Part 02

Go to “F3” and select “Parallel”

Press “left button” of your mouse from upper side of this rectangle
Insert expected (neck drop) (back) size by pressing “down arrow”

Insert expected (neck drop) (Front) size by pressing “down arrow”


Insert expected Armhole Straight size from (neck drop) ( Back) by pressing
“down arrow”

Insert expected (neck width ½) size from Right side of this Rectangle
Insert expected (Shoulder to Shoulder) size from Right side of this
Rectangle

Mark Shoulder line point by using intersection


Use “Bezier” from “F1” for back neck (started by Left click and ended by
right click)

Use “Bezier” from “F1” for Front neck (started by Left click and ended by
right click)
Use “Bezier” from “F1” for Armhole (started by Left click and ended by right
click)

Use “Straight” from “F1” for Shoulder (started by Left click and ended by
right click)
Turn on “Handle” From “Display” option

Then click on “F3” and select “Reshape” option


Select zoom Button for make working area in zoom and selecting expected
area by clicking left button on this Area

Give exact shape by clicking on “left button” on handle and insert by “right
button”
For expected (Bicep) measurement take “Parallel” line from right side of
rectangle

For taking (Under Sleeve length) select “Straight” From “F3”

And then take straight line from lower side of Bicep line
Now insert exact measurement on “dl” and make intersection in left side of
rectangle

Take a “Bazier” from upper side of (under sleeve length) to upper angle of
right side of rectangle
Now reshape this “bazier” as required as previous
How to extract Pattern & give seam
allowance by (Lectra Modaris) software

Undo “handle” from “display”

Now go to “F3” select “Delection” and remove line and intersection


point that is not relevant with pattern
Divide Front, Back part and sleeve by “Seam” from “F4”

Give seam allowance select “select” button and press on “Shift”


button and select expected line
Now select “Line Seam” from “F4” and click “left” button insert
expected measurement and finished by “Enter” button

Add a corner on sleeve by “Add Corner” from “F4” and select


“Previous Perpendicular” and then select on this sleeve corner
For unfold this pattern go to “F5” and select “Sym2Pts” click “left
button” from top of pattern from right side and make this line to
bottom of right side and insert by “right button”

Now inserting Grain Line by “Axis” from “F4” and then select “Grain
line axis DF”
Make “dx’ 00 to get Vertical Line

Now it’s ready
