Indirect Speech / Reported Speech
Question
Statement
คือ การรายงานรูปแบบ
ประโยคบอกเล่าหรือปฎิเสธ
หลักการ
1.ตัดเครื่องหมาย comma(,) ออก
2.เอาเครื่องหมายคำพูด(Question mark) ออก 2.reporting verb เป็น ask ,asks หรือ asked order/ordered, command/commanded
3.เติม that หลัง Reporting Verbs หรือไม่ก็ได้
4.เปลี่ยนสรรพนามให้เหมาะสม
5.เปลี่ยนคำระบุเวลา จาก ใกล้ ----> ไกล
Example
1. “I will go to Big C tomorrow”
Reported Statements
He said he will go to Big C the next day.
2. “Tom is eating breakfast ”
Reported Statements
She said Tom was eating breakfast.

หลักการ
1.ถอดเครื่องหมายคำพูด(Question mark) ออก
หลักการ
1.ใช้กริยานำ คือ tell/told , ask/asked,
ตามด้วยตัวเชื่อม ถ้าคำุถามเดิมขึ้นต้นด้วย
2.ถอดเครื่องหมายคำพูดออก
Question Word ใช้คำเชื่อมได้เลย
3.ใช้ to + V1 ในการบอก ขอร้อง สั่ง
ถ้าคำถามขึ้นต้นด้วย helping V. ให้ใช้ if
ถ้าเป็นปฏิเสธหรือห้ามใช้ not to + V1
หรือ whether เชื่อม
ถ้าประโยคDirect Speechไม่มีกรรม
3.ลำดับคำรูปประโยคบอกเล่า ตัดเครื่องหมาย ? ให้เติมกรรมใน Indirect Speech ลงไปด้วย
ใส่ full stop แทน หากมีคำว่า "Please" ให้ตัดทิ้ง
4.เปลี่ยนแปลงสรรพนามให้เหมาะ เปลี่ยน Tense
ถ้ากริยาเป็น Past
