The Gateway Controller (GWC) is a network component of the Packet MSC (P-MSC). The GWC
receives instructions from the Call Agent of the P-MSC. Based on these instructions, the GWC
exchanges signaling with various types of Media Gateways to control the bearer path setup, release
on these Media Gateways, to perform various functions such as digit collection, echo cancellation.

Mobile Telephone Exchange (MTX) is Nortel's Mobile Switching Center (MSC) for CDMA in the
wireless network. It works on the ATCA platform. We develop and design new enhancements
requested by the customer, which includes enhancing the current functionalities and also creating
new ones.
Initially worked in the CR (Change Request) team as team member which is responsible for
sustenance of MTX software of DMS MTX switches. The main focus is on resolving Change
Requests (CR) generated by various product test teams. 
Contribution
 Providing technical expertise on Calea and other domains like conference, Features and
Maintenance etc to the sustenance team.
