2.2 Preparation
To ensure smooth installation and configuration procedures, all data of the DICOM or
HIS/RIS node to be configured should be read out first:
n For FLUOROSPOT Compact based systems, start local service und select:
- FL-C Service > Configuration > DICOM Nodes Settings
n For Axiom Aristos systems, read out the data as follows:
- select > Options > Service > Local Service > Configuration > Network Nodes or
HIS/RIS
Make a note of the network addresses of the components involved:
- IP Address
- Port No.
- AE Title
If the DAC has to be deactivated, it is helpful to record the original configurations of the
nodes to be modified.
If the image system configuration is affected by any changes, the image system needs
to be rebooted, otherwise the configuration changes will not be accepted. Always re‐
boot the image system after the message “Reboot required” appears.
n Click on <Save> and <Exit> (on systems running with the VB... software, click on
<Next>).
The "Config Check" starts. When finished, the "Config Check" results are dis‐
played.
n Start the automatic configuration by clicking on <AutoConf>.
n Wait until the Auto Configuration is finished.
n Click on <Exit> to leave the Config Check menu (on systems running with the VB...
software, click on <Finish>).
If the image system configuration is affected by any changes, the image system needs to
be rebooted, otherwise the configuration changes will not be accepted. Always reboot
the image system after the message “You must reboot Image System” appears.
