SYN TR , ITS ISSUES AND REMEDIAL MEASURES

1. Syn tr was constr in jul 2022.

2. Its total length is 1000 m (935 m synthetic & 65 m tuff tiled) and 9.3 ft wide,
costing (34.704 Mn).
3. Due to severe weather condn in Okara Cantt, minor faults appeared in syn tr.
4. Maximum damages occur between deer cage till pirate boat loc.
5. Detail of the issues is as follow

6. Air bubbles formed during extreme rain season.
7. Miniature pores emerged in different loc of tr.
8. Mud getting stuck inside pattern of tr.
9. Water seepage under the tr.
Remedial Measures
10. Proper washing and cleaning of tr according to the instr given by the second
party.
11. Daily checking of tr by responsible indls.
12. Timely info to Bde HQ and Second party regarding any faults.
13. Const of Drainage line from deer cage till pirate boat loc.
14. Strict adherence to tr use policies and cleaning policies.
 CONTRACT DEEDS
1. Warrantee of 2 yrs (free material, labour and all svc) + 8 yrs (only labour) will
be provided.
2. Tr completion by 16 Jul 2022.
3. Any delay in work by 2nd party will be chg 0.05 % of the total cost per day.
4. Tr will be laid mech using EPDM paver and spray machine.
5. Std base will be prep for tr which will leveled and smooth in flow by 2 nd party.
6. Approved layers of synthetic tr will be laid (9mm EPDM, 2mm PU & 2mm
EPDM plus PU spray).
7. Final amount will be paid as per exact measurement of the tr.
8. Planning and exec of drainage sys by 2nd party.
9. High quality synthetic imported grass will be laid having 2 yrs warranty and 8-
10 yrs of life.
10. Rejection qual of work by 1st party – need to be addsd by 2nd party during
exec.
11. Mob adv (both synthetic and civ work) will be paid in adv by 1 st party.
12. No addl payment will be made by 1st party due to change in market price or
change in dollar rate.
13. The 2nd party will provide Guarantee Cheque of 50 % of Contract Agreement
(Rs 17.352 Mn) in favour of 1st party (as assurance against payment of 50 %).
14. Any change in design or length other then mentioned in contract will be borne
by 1st party.
15. Backfilling and compaction of the soil by 2nd party.
16. Removal of trees and hurdles by 1st party.
17. Order of material once placed will not be changed.
18. Work will be started with in wk after signing of contract.
19. Protection of material against weather hazards by 2nd party.
20. 3 ph electricity will be provided along with backup gen by 1 st party.
21. Storage place for material will be provided by 1st party.
22. Accn for labours will be provided by 1st party while food and Guest room chgs
will be borne by 2nd party.
23. Security clearance of all workers (From police by 2nd party & from FS sec by
1st party).
24. Submission of 2 x samples, Manufacturer’s product data sheets and Material
Safety Data Sheet by 2nd party.
25. Complete instrs of care & maint by 2nd party.
26. Any damage due to human error will be borne by 1 st party.
27. No involvement of police, civ dept or court during exec of the work – Conflict if
any will be solved mutually.
28. 1st party can hire an expert to monitor the work.
29. Instrs bds to be displayed by 2nd party.
30. First party will fol the payment time line while 2 nd party to fol the proj
completion time line.
