중급영어회화, Assignment #2.

Due June 1st

Alone or with a partner, please give a video presentation about an important event in Korean or
Vietnamese history.

You should present as if this were an in-class presentation, but record it on video and bring it to
me to copy on USB, or e-mail it to me as a link that I can download.

You will want to make a powerpoint (or prezi) presentation, with photos and information about
the event.

Include details such as:

 Who was involved?

 What happened?
 Background.
◦ What led to the event?
◦ Why did it happen?
 Why was it important?
 How did this event change things?
◦ What was its influence/effect?
 Where was it, and why there?
 Anything else pertinent to the event.

The presentation should be about 5 minutes long, and both partners (if there are 2 of you)
should speak.

The purpose of the presentation is to show how well you can explain a historical event, in
addition to using the grammar of the past. You may think about tying in some of the grammar
from unit 4, as well.
