ACCORDING TO ORAL HISTORY THE PLACE WAS FULL OF BUSHES AND SHRUBS
AND THE MAIN ROAD WAS SLOPPY AND ELEVATEDH,HEND,THE COMMUNETERS
USED TO RIDE CALESA ,PULLED BY A HORSE .WHEN ASKED WHERE TO GO ONE
WOULD ANSWER ''SA PABABA'' AND SO THE AREA WAS CALLED ''PABABA''

THE PLACE BECAME A BORRIO IN 1992 . IN 1992 ,BARRIO IBABA WAS DIVIDED INTO
TWO NAME WHICH IS ''IBAIBA EAST'' AND ''IBABA WEAT''

 When ibaba west was divided into two there already was a barangay hall
used during session. But it was too small and made up only of a small parts
of wood and part cement with sheet as its roof . Finally, during the term of
the late barangay capitan REDENTOR VILLAR this was moved along the
maid road .The properly was owned by MR.EMETERIO MARASIGAN who sold
it to the barangay.The barangay hall wa fully constructed through the
effort of councilor JOSEPH A. ROSAS who become the capitan when
REDENTOR VILLAR died as he was the first councilor.The construction was
funded by CONGRESSMAN RENATO LEVISTE through the country wide
development fund.The present brangay captain is brangay capitan LEMUEL
B. GAHAOL who won the election last MAY 1,2018
