II. Statement of the Problem:

To address the parking needs of the adjoining shopping center, the owner hired you as an “Architect” to
design and conceptualize a 4 storey car park. The carpark will connect from 2nd, 3rd and 4th level of the
shopping center through the use of a covered bridge.

III. Project Site Feature:

The project site is an inner lot with 60 meter wide frontage, the main road is 30meter road right of way
(RROW).

IV. Design Objectives:

a. To plan/ design the project with an advance technology structure and a Filipino vernacular
character must be considered in the design configuration.
b. The project should consider automation system for security of the premises.
c. To plan and design a building that would become a new landmark in the area by integrating
the principles of green architecture.
