Yesterday I watched the movie whiplash and it's a really great movie, I'm so

excited about this movie that I have a lot of thoughts about it and I'm going to
talk about it.

The film ''Whiplash'' (2014) tells the story of Andrew Nieman, a first-grader of
the conservatory, he loves music so much that he practices blood on his hands
in an empty room, and it was at this moment that the main character meets the
best conductor of the conservatory, Terence Fletcher, he became interested in
the guy and invited him to the choir and with this is the beginning of the story
of the formation of the protagonist.

''Whiplash'' is not about music, it's about a person who goes to his dream despite
the pressure, and the statement that "Terence Fletcher psychologically abused
Andrew to make him progress" is not true, because he did not do this in order
for the main character to improve his skills and was "one of the greats" and in
order to confirm his theories himself.

Terence Fletcher - narcissist he does not think about the feelings of others,
thinking only about creating a genius, but what does a genius look like in his
eyes?

1. A person who is always practicing.

2. Willing to give up everything for music.

3. Does not have parents of musicians.

4. Nothing prevents him from progressing.

It's all Andrew Nieman.

Andrew is also a narcissist, he was also not respectful of people in many things,
but perhaps that is why he became the one who became even better than Buddy
Rich.
Fletcher already knew that Andrew was a genius what one of the scenes was
talking about, all the pressure on Andrew was for Fletcher to confirm his
theories about him, he made Andrew feel uncomfortable from the very
beginning so that he passed the test for genius. Fletcher didn't care how Andrew
played, he could learn it.

I was interested in the moment when Nieman testified about Terence Fletcher.
but why?

I think 'it's because Andrew never understood, he didn't understand why he was
doing this. Andrew thinks he's better than everyone else and wants to be seen as
such by Fletcher but since he was constantly under pressure from the conductor
he decided 'if Fletcher doesn't think I'm the best then he won't teach anyone
who's better than me'' I think that's the right phrase.

The film is really interesting, but not motivating, it was not filmed for this.
When I watched this film at home, I was simply shocked by the pressure on the
main character that could be felt even through the screen. A beautiful color
palette and emotional scenes make this film only better. The film evoked
emotions and it's cool. Maybe that's what they watch movies for?
