Homogeneous Mixtures as Solutions

Solution is a result of two combined substances mixed evenly and thoroughly.

A solution is a special type of a mixture.

A solution is a homogeneous mixture that combines a solute and a solvent.


Prepare the following materials. Show to the
class how to make solutions and have them tell its different characteristics by just looking
at the sample solutions prepared.

Switch off the light, close the doors and windows, and direct a beam of light on the
samples prepared.
