DC2TOG Two DC together ❖ Crochet hook, I’m using 3.5mm.
CL Cluster ❖ Tapestry needle
CH Chain ❖ Scissor

Special stitches :

DC2TOG ~ Two DC together

• Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, draw up a loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops (2 loops
remain on hook).
• Yarn over, insert hook into the same stitch, draw up a loop, yarn over draw through 2
loops, (3 loops on hook), yarn over, draw through all 3 loops.

CL ~ Cluster ~ Three DC together

• Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, draw up a loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops (2 loops
remain on hook).
• Yarn over, insert hook into the same stitch, draw up a loop, yarn over, draw through 2
loops on hook (3 loops on hook).
• Yarn over, insert hook into the same stitch, draw up a loop, yarn over, draw through 2
loops on hook (4 loops on hook), yarn over and draw through all 4 loops.

Start with Green yarn

Round 1: 8 SC in Magic Ring, SL ST into next ST to close the round. {Pic1}
Round 2: Ch 3, DC2TOG in same ST as CH 3, {Pic.2 & 3} [CH3, CL in next ST] x 7 times. CH 3,
SL ST on the top of the beginning DC2TOG. (8 clusters) {Pic.4}
Round 3: CH 3, 3 DC into the CH 3 space, CH 1, [4 DC into the CH3 space, CH 1] x 7 times.
SL ST on the top of the beginning CH 3 {Pic.5 & 6}
Round 4: CH3, 3 DC on top of the DC, 2 DC into the CH 1 space, [4 DC on top of the DC, 2
DC into the CH 1 space] x 7 times, SL ST on the top of the beginning CH 3. {Pic.7}

Join white yarn, {Pic.8} do not cut the green yarn as you need to continue later.
Round 5: [CH2, Skip 1 ST, SC into next ST] x 24 times, SL ST on the base of the beginning CH
2. Cut the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends. {Pic.8 & 9}

Continue with Green yarn

Round 6: CH3, 2 DC into the first CH2 space {Pic.10}, [3 DC into next CH2 space] x 23
times, SL ST on top of beginning CH 3. {Pic.11 & 12}
Round 7: [CH 3, skip 2 STS, SC into next ST] x 23 times, CH 3, SL ST into the
base of the beginning CH 3. {Pic.13}
Round 8: CH 1, [4 SC into the CH 3 space, SL ST on top of the SC] x 24 times.
Cut the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends. {Pic.14 & 15}
