Materials: pictures, video clip

III. Procedures
A. Before the lesson
Review
What are the different commodities found in the market? Name at least five.
Motivation
The teacher will show pictures of people selling in the community.
Unlocking of difficulties

B. During the lesson

Show a video clip of a seller who bought finished product from the buyer.
Ask the following questions
Who is the seller in the video? Who is the buyer? What finished product does the seller bought? What
qualities the seller and a buyer should have to make their relationship good as well?
The teacher will discuss the difference of sellers from buyers and also the importance of retailing.

Generalization
What is a seller?
What is a buyer?
What is retailing? How does retailing helps your family income?
How many of you have a sari-sari store at home? How does mother run store?

If you are given a chance will you also put up your own retailing business? Why?
What is the importance of retailing business? What kind of retailing business do you want to put up? Why?

C. After the lesson

Application
Group Activity
As a group, have them act the following tasks given. For Group 1 Commercial Group, Group 2 Role Play on
the qualities of a good seller and Group 3 Demonstrate how to sell commodities

Identify the following. (retailer, retailing, supermarket, specialty store, tiangge)
1.It’s a self-service store.
2. This is the selling of items in small quantities directly to the consumer.

V. Assignment
Conduct an interview to your neighbor that owns a sari-sari store regarding the processes that she used to
run her business. Then retell it in the class.

III. Procedures
A. Before the lesson
Motivation
Which moves faster a horse or a turtle?
The teacher will compare the movement of the two animals.
Which runs fast?

B. During the lesson

Imagine yourself riding in an airplane going to Davao, or in a “Ro-Ro Ship” going to the same destination.
Will you arrive first riding in an airplane or in a “Ro-Ro Ship”? Why?
Singing of the Song from the Beatles “Ob-La-Di-Ob-La-Da” then describes the flow of the music?
How do you feel when singing it?
The teacher will discuss and explain the tempo. Give the most commonly used tempo markings symbols.

What is tempo?
Give the most commonly used tempo markings or symbols.
C. After the lesson
Application
Divide the class into two. Singing the song Sitsiritsit, each group will perform the given song using tempo
marks.

3. Adagio (slow, or in an easy graceful manner)
4. Lento (slow)
5. Largo (very slow, broad)

Anong uri ng transportasyon ang kalesa? Sa anong uri ng pamayanan makikita ang kalesa?
Ano ang mabuting naidudulot sa kapaligiran ang paggamit ng kalesa?
Kung kayo ay mabibigyan ng pagkakataong makagamit pa ng kalesa, nanaisin ba ninyo? Bakit?
Paano ninyo maipapakita ang pagpapahalaga sa kapaligiran?
Sa awiting kalesa, ano ang inyong napansin sa tempo nito?

Ang tempong largo ay mabagal na matatag samantalang ang presto ay mabilis na nagmamadali. Ang
allegro ay mabilis habang ang moderato ay may katamtamang bilis. Ang andante ay mabagal at ang vivace
ay mas mabilis sa allegro samantalang ang ritardanto ay papabagal at ang accelerando ay papabilis.

Pagsasanay
Ipapakanta ng guro ang awiting “Bahay-Kubo”. Sa pamamagitan nang pagsasabi ng guro sa mga tempo,
ipakita ang pagbilis at pagbagal ng awitin
