NARRATIVE REPORT
SCHOOL LEARNING ACTION CELL
November 19, 2019

“Learning plays a vital role in one’s life. It is an unending process that even teachers
continuously search for it. Thus, along with the development and progress of teachers, students
are also developed. They metamorphose as they are molded by the guiding hands of the teacher.”

The teaching staff of San Francisco National High School together with their principal, Dr.
Judalyn V. Catcatan, organized an interactive LAC session regarding the use of OER in a
classroom scenario and the re-echo of Micro-skills in Counselling last November 19, 2019 at San
Francisco National High School, San Francisco Sur, Sudipen, La Union.

Before we start the session, we ask first the blessings and guidance of our Lord Almighty,
led to us by Lindbergh A. Culbengan, followed by a welcome remarks by our program host,
Deborah A. Dee. After which, Evangeline M. Antonio, our documenter last SLAC session, give the
recap of what was done last SLAC session. Some teachers give their insights of what was done
last session, then Dr. Judalyn V. Catcatan, our school principal give us the objectives of our SLAC
Session.

Lea C. Abuyog, our ICT coordinator demonstrate the use of OER in a classroom scenario.
Grade 11 students served as her demonstrating students. Students were very active and
cooperative in the class discussion. Dr. Judalyn V. Catcatan, our school principal did the critiquing
part together with some of our teachers. After it, Bernadette A. Aspiras give us the updates on
guidance and counselling that we can apply to our clientele. We finished the session with a prayer
led by Warren V. Ordonez.
