SALUDO REACTION PAPER

Time goes beyond our watches, including elements from every known culture,
demonstrating the beauty of movement and presenting a tale. All of these things
and more are accomplished through dance. It is a vital component of our society. We
can connect to our culture via dancing and learn more about how people lived in the
past. Celebrations will never go out of style. Emotions will always be present in
people's lives. People will always feel compelled to share their feelings. As a result, I
believe that dance is an art form that will never fade away. SALUDO: Ikalawang
Yugto gave justice to the culture of the Philippines, including its dances, clothing,
bonds, beautiful places, and scenery. The video was well-presented. I was really
amazed with the editing and the flow of the presentation. Everyone in the CPU
Dance Company gave all their best to exude the inner Filipino in them. They were
graceful enough to bring me back to the past as I imagined all the dances danced by
our ancestors. Also, they were smiling all throughout the choreography, which again
represents a true Filipino because we are always smiling no matter what happens.
These small details add a lot of contribution and impact to bring out SALUDO’s best
presentation. All in all, I was really impressed with all the efforts made by the whole
cast and crew. I realized that we should celebrate these events more often to give
thanks or appreciation to our abundant culture and to make sure that it is well
preserved to pass it on to our future generations.
