1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Project Background
Due to the expansion in gas production in Kurdistan Region of Iraq, the Ministry of
Natural Resources has appointed KAR GP Ltd (KAR or Company) as a turnkey
EPC contractor to carry out the FEED, Detailed Design and Construction of a new
gas pipeline. The objective of the new gas pipeline is to transport the natural gas
from the increase in gas production in the gas fields located in Kurdistan Region
of Iraq to Duhok Power Plant.
The title of the project is “Domestic Gas Pipeline to Duhok Power Plant” and is
abbreviated as “DGD”.
KAR GP Ltd has awarded [VENDOR/CONTRACTOR] to carry out [insert title of

- Basic Design and FEED during engineering
and procurement phases (Engineer);
- Project Management Consultant (PMC) and
DD Consultant during project execution,

(i) Detail Design and Engineering
Follow-up Team as continuation of the
