2023 BRIGADA ESKWELA NARRATIVE AND ACCOMPLISHEMENT REPORT

During the 6-day Brigada Eskwela from August 14 to 19, 2023, I, as a teacher,
actively participated in various activities aimed in preparing our school for the upcoming
academic year. For today’s school year 2023-2024 BRIGADA ESKWELA, it is was really a
“Challenge Accepted” because it has a lot of work to do since it focuses the implementation
of “OPLAN BAKLAS” DepEd Order No. 21, which provides the guidelines for this year's
Brigada Eskwela, required schools to clear school grounds, classrooms and all its walls of
“unnecessary artwork, decorations, tarpaulin and posters. “With this new classroom set up all
teachers were busy.

In my own scenario, since I am so desperate to implement the new deped guidelines I

am ensuring tasks were performed efficiently, and monitored actual accomplishments against
identified needs. I have decided to ask work teams, I hired my own carpenters, painters,
which I paid from my own pocket, I have to manage administrative and financial matters.
Each day, I planned what job needs to accomplished, what should be done first and what is
the leased priority. Fortunately our principal is very supportive he gave us free 2 gallon of
paint for our walls which the budget comes from our school MOOE, and aside from that
luckily on my 3rd day there are already volunteered parents, stakeholders to do the task so that
makes the work done in time.

Considering everything, I successfully accomplished every single thing during this

school year BRIGADA ESKWELA. This could not be possible without the volunteered
parents, stakeholders, supportive principal and of course the initiative of the teacher.
