Methodology

Research Design

This study is designed as a quantitative study, aiming to determine if children in this generation has the
capability to learn and understand health literacy in Cristimar Village Brgy. San Roque, Antipolo Rizal
Daycare Center and to educate the children and the parents/guardians on how important literature in
developing literacy skills. Among the quantitative methods, the researchers used survey research.

Research Approach

The researchers combined both the use of quantitative and qualitative approach in analyzing the data
collected from the parents/ guardians. Quantitative approach involved the use of survey form which
contains basic questions on family health conditions about the child studying in Baranggay San Roque
Antipolo, Cristimar Village Daycare Center and the qualitative approach was gathered through guided
interviews and observation. Covid-19 safety protocol was followed for the protection of both the
respondents and the researchers.

Sampling Method
The study took place in Baranggay San Roque Antipolo, Crstimar Village Daycare Center. The researchers
personally interviewed the parents/guardian of the children and give survey-questionnaires and a total of 30
participants responded to the study.

Data Collection Method


The primary data will be collected from the Daycare Center in Cristimar Village Brgy. San Roque, Antipolo
Rizal. The data will be gathered from the respondents through a face-to-face interview.

Data Analysis
Using an interview approach, the data analysis will be presented quantitatively. The analysis will therefore
be quantitative.
