01.Record Construction Drawing and finishing schedule & verify Revision is current

02. Check all Materials, shop drawings and Mock-ups prepared are got approved.

03. Check that all delivered materials to site are as per the approved samples (MIR).
04. For cementitious surfaces check removing of efflorescence, chalk, dust, dirt, release agents,
grease, oils, and similar conditions.
05. For other surfaces check that surface preparation has been carried out as detailed in the
specification and / or the paint manufacturer’s instructions.

06. Check before beginning of coating that substrate is visually dry on both sides.

0 07. Check moisture content for substrate not exceeding 15%.

08. Check application of primer and putty are satisfactory according to approved method
statement and manufacturer’s recommendations.

09. Check mixing & application of 1st Coat as per Manufacturers recommendations.
10. Check mixing & application of 2nd Coat as per Manufacturers recommendations.
11. Check curing time between coats satisfactory.
12. Check that painting sheen, texture and color are achieved and satisfactory as per approved
sample.
13. After completing coating work check that cleaning of glass and spattered surfaces are done
without scratch or damage to adjacent finished surfaces.
